Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton Wanderers (a)

Today is also a reality check for next season's ambitions. If any fans are hoping to stay up, complete takeover and win promotion next season, today and Pompey show how far off the levels required we are. In a best case scenario with survival and a takeover, this team is still only 1 year into a 3 ...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Bit frustrating we can't ever quite break free and move clear. But no harm done. And might actually help bring Yids back into the starting line up... he is our best RB after all. Keeping it at 6 clear today was a good outcome, so I think only Cambridge have gained on us of the sides below us before...

Re: Rival Watch

Burton, Port Vale and Cheltenham are 5, 6 & 7 points back with 5, 6 & 7 games to play respectively. It’s a tough shout to get 1 PPG more than the team you’re chasing so I’d fancy our chances that 2 of them won’t manage it Cheltenham's last three are Peterborough, Stevenage and Lincoln, the ...

Re: The non snowball stat thread

Was he an academy graduate? Didn’t think we had an academy back then… But if we are going before academies were a thing You could probably throw ady Williams on the list also Academy is just a new name and structure for a youth team. Clubs have had youth teams for ages. Yes I know but what about Re...

We've already achieved more points than we finished with in the last 2 seasons (and with same points deductions).

Re: Who do we want to play next season?

Sutekh Barrow please.

Getting dangerously close to QPR surviving.

Seen us play Barrow in the league in 1972.

All my family went as they were giving out vouchers at the turnstiles for the Arsenal cup game the following week.

As a keen amateur astronomer, I've always known Chiron as a minor planet, similar to Pluto, frequenting the outer solar system.

Very difficult to find even with a good quality telescope...

Main takeaways from the game...

FIrst time in ages we've had a goalkeeping performance that's influenced the result in our favour and good to see the defence by and large doing a good job against a decent side.

Bindon is quality, can't see us hanging on to him in the summer.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (h)

Expecting a close game, a draw or narrow victory. We do seem to up our game a bit against the better teams. Any result which betters Cheltenham and Port Vale will do nicely as another game chalked off the season. However, with Bolton coming up on the Monday a defeat would be pretty bad and may drag...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

With the exclusivity announced, has there been a confirmation from the club that HMRC and players wages will be paid in full and on time for the rest of the season, thus eliminating the possibility of the suspended deduction of a further 2 points being enforced? If we hadn't paid HMRC (due last wee...

SBWD statement following today's news is kneejerk and not for the first time.

They are complaining the club hasn't announced who the proposed buyer is, really think they need to get individuals who understand this stuff to check their statements through.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

The key immediate question is do we need exclusivity this week, so someone can provide funds this week to cover the tax due on Friday (otherwise we are -2) or do we have funds at least for the tax now as has been rumoured on Twitter? I'm not sure Dellor covered this earlier....
