Parking was £7 at Compaq and the Stadium last Saturday for the Eggball game so parking charges are across the board ; though parking at the Holiday Inn was free so that was some compensation for the £10 that is charged.

How many other clubs operate a scheme at all?

Seems fair enough to sell out a fixture before STH's returns.

The manager can only do so much. The real question is will the players raise their game every week. Week in week out when the pressure really mounts in the second half of the season.

I called Goater a desperation signing, in that at the time Reading had to buy a striker. I never criticised Goater while he was at Reading, as thought that he did ok but that he didnt fit into the team and style of play. Murray for all his problems of not settling in etc was obviously not up to the ...

If Coppell hasn't found the players to sign then I trust his judgement. He is looking for individuals with particular qualities. Too often players are bought in acts of desperation eg Murray and Goater. With hindsight you could say that this set the club back a year, with better use of the money we ...

It's only a friendly so result doesn't matter. More importantly hope that no serious injuries occur.

The strikers, who ever is picked, will only score if the team creates enough chances. Now is not the time to get pessimistic and pick on individual players.

I meant to add to my last comment that maybe he misjudged the result of this action. Whatever the pros and cons unless 107FM extend their coverage then a good number of fans will not hear commentary on away games. I only live 17 miles away from the Madstad and reception of 107FM is non existant. If ...

Maybe the fact that JM has a vested interest in the success of 107 FM has something to do with the decision...........

JM is talking sense. After having taken 16 years to get the club this far he doesnt want to see it all go to waste. Take Ballacks wages for example, a single season is over £5m. If we are going to compete then we will need good financial backing from very deep pockets. Chelsea are making the premier...
