Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I got mine yesterday. Most of the writing on it looks like its worn off already. My two sons STs didnt arrive yesterday. I would have thought theyd all come in one envelope. Are your lads already ST holders and under 18? If so they will need to use their existing ST cards ?? My son is 16, existing ...

Re: Pre season tour

One of the other things I forgot to mention post match is how much better we look going forward. Both the 1st and 2nd half teams looked like they had goals in them. Even with very average to below par performances from Meite and Barrow we still looked a threat. We especially looked a threat from se...

Re: CONFIMRED - Joao Virginia

Alright then, seeing as everyone is too scared to say it I will. Clearly not good enough, as expected. No experience, no composure, completely the wrong decision to give him the number one spot at a Championship club. We aren't in League 2 where players can just use us for experience. As for Sam Wa...

Re: Pre season tour

Yeah exactly that Disappointed he didn’t get some minutes in Spain, but it sounds like he is ready to step up to a more competitive level. But he’ll be some way from the first 11 for quite some time At least it was good to see him warming up with (I understand) an injured Loader on the touch line i...

I missed Swift's goal, distracted by twenty numpties "singing" Barrett's goal was very nice, very cool and a good finish. Swift’s goal, and some passes were incredible. Where was he last year?! Barrett’s work rate was truly impressive. Hope our goalie grows whatever the Portuguese equival...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Idk - The general atmosphere around the club feels a little different now. There's no longer (or I hope not) a section of the fans that believe we're good enough for anything other than surviving in the league; we're all pretty united in our low expectations and understanding of the battle we face....

Nameless
paddy20 RFC still own the lake. They want to keep it to make the place look nice.

Bit hard to sell the lake ! Would the buyer collect or you would deliver ?

From Despair To Where? ...and boost that average attendance target to 109.

Can you imagine 108 vegans telling you all about their life-style choices before you’ve even seen the kick-off? Never complain about ED stand again.

Do they all scream when the groundsmen fork the pitch?

Royalwaster Aren't the players currently on holiday? If so, how come he's training with Reading?

With the Physio.

Ah. So we’ll sign him in July, and he’ll be on the bench, injury free, by about December 2023? Or did the medical staff change very recently?

Re: On this day

Well, it was a couple of days ago, rather than this day, but the ride on the bus post Huddersfield was the longest journey. Flying to Vancouver is minutes by comparison.

What a flat performance. The grey drizzle at the Mad Stad at the end said it all. Still have a big flag from that day. Somewhere.

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Linking to other people seems to be a problem, they need an account first which isn't what was advertised Yep, so to “conveniently add my other family members” I need to set an account per head, even though my son isn’t about to buy anything soon. Different. But hey, ludicrously cheap STs make up f...

Hmm, do I pay £375 to renew in the Lower West of save £76 and join club 1871 for £299? Not sure the family/Eamon Dolan stand should be more than the Club 1871 area, Isn't the view is about the same but the opposite end? If you do switch, I hope you’re going to contribute to the noise and not just s...

Well “Who the Fcuck are we” could be changed to “Who are we fckuking”, to take the climactic bit, and then the chorus of “We hate Swindon, we hate the Swindon” would cover the vegetable requirement, no?

Anyone know anything about Diamond Edwards? https://the72.co.uk/130038/reading-youth-player-being-lined-up-by-european-clubs/ Alan Nixon has posted on Twitter that other clubs are looking at him. I've never seen him mentioned on here or in any of the U23 squads. Guess he's still in the U18s? Attack...

Zip I was listening to Radio Wales last night hoping Wrexham would get through.

Saw it on BT Sport (wife’s from just outside Wrexham) and Southwood looked decent..though not sure he was fouled for the goal not standing.
