Re: Sheff Weds - Back from the game

As much as I think Adkins is useless.
This defeat can be laid on two players for individual mistakes.
Pearce and McCarthy I'm afraid.
We can blame the ref,(who was awful) the Sheff players for time wasting, but at the end of the day these two players, especially Pearce cost us the game.

So the fact that I am vertically challenged with hair like a Brillo pad is lost on you.

Any how back to the topic. What does Mr Cliche actually imply that Mr Ron Manager doesn't on a Sunday morning!

Look forward to hearing from you.

Re: Adkins interview on BBCRB 24/01/14

Manager Nigel Adkins spoke in depth to the local media this week about the tactics of regaining possession and how our whole team contributes defensively. The boss discussed his strategic approach to the game, which gave us a thumping win over Bolton, the first time in almost 35 years that we have ...

St. Brynjar I like Mills, he was great for us. Left like a bit of a prick though and the panto booing is fine. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

 Did you see him Saturday?

sandman Well obviously he's not a tactical genius because it's taken him 9 months to work out that we can do what everyone already knew we could do.

Re: See ya Roy

Who was it who grudgingly said last week they'd give Adkins a week of grace after Watford? How very generous of them, and how pleased they must be to have got such excellent results out of him with their very magnanimous and balanced decision. Me and I stick by it. As long as he keeps winning I wil...

Re: Back From The Game - Bolton

Big kudos to the Bolton fans. They cracked me up - very good gallows humour given the circumstances & not once did they boo the team. Pick the bones out of that one Dellor haha team without Adkins lovechild, playing a pressing game and getting the ball quickly down down the wings. hmmmmmm Damne...

Re: Back From The Game - Bolton

Excellent performance today Well done Reading. Every single player put in a shift including Mcarthy (who had very little to do) who made an excellent one on one save early on. Well done Adkins, albeit that it has taken the best part of a year to realise that Tippy Tappy football does not work with t...

Re: Back from the game - Watford

The pressures on Nige. I want to see the same commitment against Bolton. You get another week of grace from me. How gracious that you're happy for a manager that as us one point off the Play Offs to get at least one more week at the club. Some of our fans are oxf*rd ridiculous. Some of our f...

Re: Back from the game - Watford

The tempo was much improved, the midfield worked and Pog was MOM by a mile. He never stopped putting their defenders under pressure. If he had someone similar to play off similar to his style, we have a forward line that would terrify defenders and take some stopping. Unfortunately Alf huffed and pu...

Its anyones guess what team the idiot will put out. After a year he still does not know his best team.

Has he actually played the same team in consecutive games?
