Re: Uninspiring Speculation - AbduLOL Razak

Who? The bloke hasn't managed to notch double figures for any of the eight clubs he's played for at 23 years old. Wouldn't be a very "Reading signing", would it now

Re: BFTG Wolves

Taking the first Ian Branfoot anomaly out (who was also afforded the time to build a side capable of challenging at the top of D3 on the back of much chagrin of the club selling Kerry Dixon to Chelsea) the average length of time afforded to a manager in getting promoted is approximately 2 yrs 10 mt...

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

It's a fair point. I was watching yesterday and thinking if only Norwood could get the ball forward quicker. With the players we have we should be more direct. And no, Team Board Spazmoids I'm not suggesting "hoofball" I'm talking playing direct, pressing football. Like we did in 05/06 an...

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

Currently this season has all the hallmarks of last: dull and uninspiring in the league with potential for a good cup run. I'd take a Wembley semi final again and 15th in the league. It looks like it's gonna take a lot longer to really stamp his mark back on the club, I'm willing to write this seaso...

Re: Are you a fan or a customer?

I'm a fan. I don't care what the result is, I just go to watch the game, meet friends and have beers but I am delighted when we win. I go to gigs as a customer because I know what I'm getting is quality but football as a fan as it's an unknown outcome. The common denominator, however, will always be...

Re: CONFIMRED - Deniss Rakels

Extended-Phenotype Just another 'Sa' type deal.

Watch, they will become very common.

In, play a couple of games, dropped, some vague excuses, out.

How can you say this without even having seen him? Why don't you give him a chance? He might be another Vydra (at Watford) signing for all you know.

Re: 1993-1995 vs 2005-2007

2005 spawned the dawn of the Soccer Am mongdiv Reading fan so 93-95 was definitely better. I remember us giving West Ham under Pardew an absolute (on pitch) shooing in 2005, we were 3-0 up and the East Stand starting seal-clapping and chanting EA-SAY EA-SAY which I found amusing as it wound up the ...

Free agent after leaving Millwall in 2015. Would definitely add some steel and competition at the back.

Re: 1993-1995 vs 2005-2007

93-95 because I was in that age (7-9) where I was totally in awe of football, meeting what were my idols at the time and them bothering to talk, being on the terraces etc... not even just the football, although making it to a playoff final was pretty special and just cemented my love of the club. 0...

Re: Ipswich (A) re-arranged

CountryRoyal Things I would rather spend £32.50 on than watching Ipswich V Reading.

6 tickets to Reading V West Brom/Peterborough
8-9 Pints
32 litres of petrol
130 Freddos
10 Watermelons
1 Bottle of Veuve Clicquot
1 tin of paint + 1 plastic chair

Did you have your 9 pints last night m8? Which beer?

I think one striker will suit us away and they've had some pretty naff results of late.

That Abdoul Camara is pony. I'd be fuming if we wasted £2m on him. They didn't need him either

Re: January Deadline Day thread.

RG30 Daily Mirror linking us with Julian Speroni but dependant on other keeper movement.

I never really saw the big deal about him but everyone at that club raves about him and says about how big an impact he has off the pitch. If that't the case then get him in.

If not Gabor Kiraly with grey joggers.

Re: RUMOUR - Williams to Middlesbrough

Pepe the Horseman The last of the AZ signings. Makes sense to get rid of him and his wages if we get a good enough offer. Plus Quinn is much, much better.

You think Quinn is "much, much better"?

In the immortal words of Brendan, "you are not a supporter of this club".
