Re: Cardiff match thread sponsored by sheep fiddler (c)

Against Newcastle and Swansea HRK dribbled from way out wide into a position where he was one-on-one with the keeper and should have scored. Long also was a little unlucky with refereeing decisions in the first half at Newcastle, and actually turned the game against Newcastle. He was garbage agains...

Re: Cardiff match thread sponsored by sheep fiddler (c)

Perfectly serious. What's wrong with you people? One more unfortunate reverse in a game we played our best footnball of the season is no cause for undue pessimism. We are improving, the players are getting used to each other. We ain't going up, but things are coming together. ^^^ What he said I qui...

Re: Cardiff match thread sponsored by sheep fiddler (c)

To be absolutely honest, 4-4-2 with a diamond midfield threading balls through to the speed demon Rasiak is the absolute end for me. 4 years putting out the cones at Chobham and Rodgers thinks he is Rinus Michels. If you are really going to insist on someone as limited as Rasiak leading the line fo...

Re: Cardiff match thread sponsored by sheep fiddler (c)

Robson-Kanu actually looked the only player capable of creating something out of nothing in his starts. Long, I felt, was the best player when we played one up front. I hardly think they did fcuk all in their starts when IMO they were two of the better players in their games. Well thats what opinio...

Re: Cardiff match thread sponsored by sheep fiddler (c)

It's all well and good playing decent in the middle of the park when, as you willingly admit, you've got fcuk all delivery and fcuk all receiving it up front. Marek was distinctly average once again, always looking for the Hollywood pass. The tone of his game was set with his first pass - straight ...

Re: Cardiff match thread sponsored by sheep fiddler (c)

Rodgers needs to press the reset button and go to 4-4-2 with wingers. If that means Kebe, then so be it (he actually did ok when he came on btw). ....with the players we've got? (or that were here when BR arrived?.....riiiiiiigggh :| Also, what did Robson-Kanu and Long do wrong?! Do f*ck-all in the...

LoyalRoyalFan He should still be in prison. How can you be released for killing 2 people, so early on?

It was manslaughter rather than murder.

Also they were very old people so didn't have long to live anyway which always reduces the sentence.

It is still murder.

Re: Back from the game..... Donny Rovers

loyalroyal4life sorry but did gylfi and howard not both start and it was marek who replaced gylfi?

I meant replace him in the centre of the pitch (i.e. Howard has come in to play in the position that seems to suit Gylfi best)

Re: Back from the game..... Donny Rovers

I must be the only one not too bothered by the sounds of it. Having only been to the home games I actually thought today was a bit of an improvement. Judging purely on shots-on-target we are going in the right direction anyway. Too many new starters again today for me to actually expect too much My ...

Re: Back from the game..... Donny Rovers

Kebe and Cummings were embarassing, there was masses of space down the right in the second half yet neither attacked it. Cummings needs to learn when the time is right to release the ball for Kebe he waited too late on a few occasions, but was solid defensively so I'm not going to criticise him too...

Re: Back From The Game - Sheff Utd (H)

Can I just say that Mills looks like a useless sack of sh*te. Let the player in front of him for a shot in the first couple of mins. awful backpass to Fed....... and EVERY sodding defensive header dropped lamely to an onrushing sheff utd player A few lose passes, but are you blind? he looked qualit...

Someone tell me how the hell Matejovsky is apparently "surplus to requirements" when we're playing a style of footy that has an attacking midfielder supposedly just behind attack

Baines Most efficient Reading side I've seen in terms of their goals to points ratio.
