Re: What's your favorite away day/ground?

The Vine used to be our local in my old job. We used to go in there every Friday for the Indian BBQ. Amazing scenes.

Re: back in the car from the Brighton (H) game

Maybe I am being a little harsh given the circumstances of that one, but I still think Sonks is the quickest CB we've had for a while.

Re: What's your favorite away day/ground?

I used to love going to Ninian Park - terraced, and a great atmosphere under the tin roof. Favourite current ground? I always think the City Ground is a gr8 away day - beers on the train, a "proper" ground with character, and some good pubs in Nottingham to be had. Plus only an hour on the...

Did you think? I'm not so sure. He got absolutely annihilated by the P'Boro forwards

Re: back in the car from the Brighton (H) game

Pearce was struggling against the pace of Ulloa, prior to the sending off.

But since Sonko we've not had a "quick" centre half IMO

Re: Dim Tellor Twitter Rant

The sooner Tiptoe Tim gets the boot the better and seeing as we are on the subject the other two buffoons that sit with him can go with him as well, they speak absolute nonsense, Tiptoe tim comes across as if he really does understand the game, might be ok for the few that like him, I stopped tunin...

Re: Dim Tellor Twitter Rant

He rang me back earlier today! He came across as a really decent bloke, he wasn't angry or pissed off. He explained that he can only ask a few questions after the game and he can't ask all the questions he has posed or asked during the show. He said he does get on we'll with Nigel although he recog...

Re: Stewarding Pathetic again

The steward I asked about it said that this was something they would be looking to do for most games going forwards. Apparently due to a large number of people having seats at the north end of the east and then migrating down (and taking other's actual seats) during the game/HT and causing problems ...

Re: back in the car from the Brighton (H) game

Must admit I'm yet to be convinced by Williams. Not really seen him do a lot in the 4 games I've seen this season. Changed the game v Ipswich One of our better players v Yeovil Did well against Watford  I probably should have caveated that was my first home game of the season, having been to ...

Re: Chris Gunter

The only mistake I recall him making yesterday was a ball over the top of him where he and Williams got caught ball watching and the Brighton winger nipped in behind him and it led to a cross being slid behind by Morrison who was covering him.

Otherwise I thought he was ok.

Re: back in the car from the Brighton (H) game

1. Surprised to see Jem getting low r8ings from most people, he was everywhere, in particular back tracking and making recovery tackles when we got hit on the counter a couple of times second half. Had a few good shots, and worked well with Guthrie. I would have had him MotM ahead of McCarthy tbh. ...

Re: back in the car from the Brighton (H) game

2. If we had been slinging it in to the mixer and ALF had been losing headers then yes I would agree with you, but my point is that most of the crosses don't seem to be hitting the right areas - either being well over hit or not getting past the first man. a cross is a percentage ball. when you onl...

Sat in the East behind the disabled area, so my views on the two fouls are thus: 1st booking Running away from us, other side of the pitch so not the clearest of views for me, however, it looked a foul and on the basis of what the ref was issuing other yellows for, was a booking I haven't seen this ...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Greg Abbott sacked from Carlisle. 3rd longest-serving manager in the country, since 2008. Not a massive surprise, They'd gone something like two years without wining 2 games in a row and were treading water with him in charge. The fans had been calling for him to go for the last year. Plus their fi...

Re: FIFA world ranking

I think the only real improvement that could be made to the rankings would be to extend the time period over which they are judged - lessens the impact of hosting a major tournament on your ranking, for one. But other than that - should you get more points for winning more important matches? Yes. S...

LWJ Why don't they mention Swindon at £25 for an adult ticket?

Because it's just the Championship report, there was one done for each division
