Re: Loyalty?

Sc wanted to know what Fulham were offering. I would guess this was mainly to do with the Transfer pot. If he went somewhere with a transfer fund of millions he would have a greater chance of success and becoming a top premiership manager. At Reading we have a restricted amount to spend , probably ...

Re: RUMOUR: Clarke to Fulham

Shouldn't we at least wait to see what the story behind all this is exactly. Despite all the media cobblers it might be more that ffc approached and sc had a conversation after rfc accepted the approach. Sc then spoke to ffc out of courtesy but told them to do one. Hardly think that sc was angling ...

Re: Wholesale changes in defence??

I am a bit confused as to why you think there needs to be wholesale changes to the defence, when clearly our lack of ability to defend from the front and track back from Midfield contributed more to the defeat. I agree that Obita was shocking (but he hasn't been that good for months now) and Hector/...

Re: Reading FC - this is embarrasing

Why are you making such a fuss, it's a clever piece of PR by the owners that everyone will forget about in a few weeks time, and as for what other clubs think about us, WHO GIVES A TOSS! I actually quite like it and think that the only thing missing from the video is SJM pole dancing whilst surround...

Re: Season tickets 2015/16 renewals . . .

I have heard a rumour that the club were trying to initiate a ST pricing schedule based on loyalty, therefore the more years that you have been a ST holder then the greater discount on your 2015/16 renewal.

They use a similar model in Germany and they show an increase in ST sales year after year!

Re: How good/bad was Phil Parkinson?

It wasn't just us supporters who held Parky in such high esteem, I remember Jeff Hopkins spending over £3,000 to fly himself and his family over from Australia for Parky's testimonial, and Jeff wasn't even playing! It's also no coincidence that Bradford are a team of grafters, not afraid of anyone, ...

Re: Blackpool moved, STAR disappointed

Thank you for your support, Ian, but I disagree, in that we feel we should engage our critics, within reason, not ignore them. If someone comes along and says, look, Melchester Rovers Supporters Trust have done this, this and this and STAR hasn't, then we should a) know about it and b) try and do s...

Re: Adkins, Completely Useless, Naive Tactically

Absolutely agree, it's time for Adkins to go and time for the "what else can he do, i love Adkins" do gooders to start seeing sense, instead of defending everything the man does. Tactics..... F*****G useless - made a poor defensive Charlton team look good, even Bikey FFS Team selection - L...

Re: We as fans NEED to back Adkins

We need to back Adkins and not be speculating about new managers, I personally do not believe he should be sacked and frankly he has shown the patience of a saint to stay with us after ALL of our failed promises to him. He has not had the chance to BUILD a team and is desperately trying to squeeze ...

Re: Nigel Adkin's post game interview /Derby

Pearce needs a Gorkks next to him to tell him what to do he cant lead, hence adkins demoting him from vice captain last season We don't know what goes on in the dressing room/ training ground Adkins may well be giving the players a roasting - he might just not want to air his dirty laundrey in publ...

Re: Nigel Adkin's post game interview /Derby

with williams karacan and mccleary back in the team we will be a totally different side. We are missing bite in the centre of the park and the two aformentioned will provide that, while mccleary will bring the much needed pace and width that we are also crying out for. Derby were imo the best side ...

Re: Nigel Adkin's post game interview /Derby

Not sure that anyone really gives a toss about the quality of an interview after the game, as in the heat of the moment they can be completely different to what you may hear 24 hours later. However; i have a big problem with Adkins tactics and his apparent lack of a plan B, something that ultimately...

Re: I'm with this bloke...

I found this post on readingrumours.co.uk and I totally agree with it. Is the awaited confirmation football league a smokescreen put out by RFC? The club, Charles Watts, SJM have all gone on record saying the ownership approval is a simple tick box exercise, but now weeks later and still no approva...

Re: Deadline Day Thread

The 1 going out may actually be Pog and not Obita! I have been told by a friend who works with the U18's at West Ham that they are "very interested" in either a loan deal or permanent transfer as they see Pog as an ideal replacement/partner for Carrol. Those coming in could well include Sw...

Re: Buyout

From what i know (and most of it is from fairly reliable sources) the deal put forward by the American consortium was thought to contain too many conditions that could ultimately put the club at risk. I am led to believe that one of the conditions put forward was that the land surrounding the ground...

Just giving my point of view, we look a far more effective team without him.

Thanks for the smug reply though, exactly the reason why i don't bother posting on here very often, forgot that you needed a HNA long service award to express an opinion!
