Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (h)

The telling thing in the interview was - Tim "how are conversations with the owners, have you spoken with them in the last few days". Pauno says "a month ago and then a month before, talking about the future". I reckon Dai has checked out. And if Dai cant be arsed why will anyon...

Re: Pauno out

FFP will prevent Pauno Out this season

His contract (and backroom staff) will not be renewed

He may have a "keep us up bonus" that can be enginnered somehow but after the season whatever happens he wil be gone

Re: Points Deduction Incoming!

The major downside i see with this is quite a few long years under scrutiny with continued investment restriction. The chances of success will be limited. To stay in the Championship consistently in itself will be an achievement. We become less attractive to any buyer. We have less assests My worry ...

Re: Out of Contract 2022

From what I see 2/3 of the Professional Squad The Manager (and backroom team?) have 9 months left at the club. And no money and likely continued restrictions into next season (and beyond?) We need to lose the good ones for money and are left with just "bodies" The words "Long Term Sta...

Re: RUMOUR - Yakou Meite

When I first saw him play thought he had poor technique but enthusiasm - was amazed when he got offered the big/long contract by Clement was it. I initially thought he was non League/League 2. Certainly he has improved but I think he is in the honest toiler category, passion and enthusiasm overcomes...

Re: Where do we go from here 21/22 season?

Isn't this the first time he's had a serious injury? Bit kneejerk to say move him on, especially when his stock is probably at it's lowest. First time? Are you having a laugh? This is his third injury hit season with us. The guy had to relearn how to run after the first one back in about 2017 36, 2...

Ref Liam Morore "............I think he's stale and he's seen his ambitions die with us. He should have left a couple of seasons ago." This is a bang on assessment. I suspect he is too comfortable on a massive salary - says the right things etc. I think it would benefit him and the Club if...

Re: Rival Watch

Here's a thought - all we have to do is replicate our start of season from for the next 9 games in the same order - we take 15 from 18 for the regular season, win the playoffs with a draw and a win and WIN the final - Simples ! With Swifty back soon it may be possible, though defence is looking ligh...

Re: CONFIMRED - Veljko Paunović

My feeling is that fans are moving from anger towards apathy. I've seen a few posts on here trying to defend the decision, but at the end of the day it's just another wild stab in the dark, hoping it works out. What's the old saying - fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Anyone w...

How much did we lose by not selling Loader for stupid money last year was it ? Then he walks away for free. There is so much irrational thinking here. Really hoped Nigel would have sorted this out .....

Re: Bowen, Sack? Yes or no?

Much like your fellow Bowen lover Ian Royal this post has been screenshotted and will come back to haunt you in a few days time. And I will take it on the chin. I would love a coppell comeback, a chris Hughton or even a Gareth Ainsworth but that’s is just not happening. Don’t care what anyone says ...

Re: BFI Follow Blackburn

The issue is simple, and I think clear as day Agents slime their way direct to the owners - give them some sales patter show a few vids and bingo we have another random signing Tiimbe Aruna Boye etc. Cash flows all over the place (laundered ?) written off for tax etc outrageous fees wages bungs and ...

Would assume my remaining bundle tickets will rollover to the net season - even thought Ts & Cs say you forfeit them. Goodwill gesture by the club will encourage positive behaviour from supporters - the "tough shit you forfeit" response would make people think twice about spending. Its...

WE LIKE STATS - WE LIKE DATA - WE LIKE POLLS can some clever clogs set up a " Hobnobers age band " poll. Simple really? 75 and over 65-70 60-65 etc Or is that too finegrained and would 10 year bands better (maybe a poll to define the grain?) i would be intrigued to find out this informatio...

Re: What got you into supporting RFC?! And when you did who was your nearest team?

This is a great thread - does it tell us something about the fans (on here at least)? This seems to be (no disrespect intended) an "older person" conversation. And sadly a recurring theme (of a number of posts) is a gradual drifting away, though still a supporter...... are we like the Cons...

Re: What got you into supporting RFC?! And when you did who was your nearest team?

I have been reflecting on this myself for some months - passage of time and all that Was it family connections? My Dad was never into football but me and my brother were. His mate at work persuaded him to bring us both and go along with him and his lad to "the big game". Was my 2nd ever ga...

Astonishing extract from the Get Reading Article "Since 2008/9 Reading have had one year in the Premier League (2012/13) and six years worth of parachute payments. Their income over the period was £332m but wages were £337m, leading to an operating loss of £183m over the period, which works out...

Re: Rival Watch

Can't be arsed to take a lot of interest in this season with all the shenanigans, but just looked at the table in detail. Its a very tight league this year - if Forest win against us by 1 goal they go from 10th to 4th, QPR beat Brentford they go from 8th to 2nd. #2 to #11 separated by just 3 points....
