Re: Care to answer some questions for a LFC forum?

Hello everyone, My name is Steven, and I am a member of the Liverpool forum Red & White Kop. On our forum, we have a feature called Spyin' Kop where we get the thoughts of opposition fans and I was hoping you could answer the following questions? Thanks in advance. 1. Sorry to bring it up, but ...

Re: Out of contract players - possible signings

Phil Neville is out of contract at the end of the season.

Don't laugh, he's better than anyone we've got at the moment at left back. He's probably a better DM then Karacan and Leigterwood.

Re: Season tickets 2013/14

Ok, so it's pure speculation time but how about this scenario . . . . . . . RFC will want to send renewals out whilst there is still a remote possibility of staying up. They will gamble that they are better off offering people championship prices now, rather than wait till the end of the season. So ...

Re: Next Reading Manager: Press Conference @ 9:15

Somebody remind me what the point of sacking McDermott was and getting another manager in from a promoted team so late in the season is? I realise most of you are probably of the same view as me. I agree. If they wanted to take the club in a different direction that's one thing, however to replace ...

Re: Transfer budget 2013-14?

My understand of club finance at championship level is that the entire parachute payment will simply fill the gap between player wages and the much lower income. We lost 12m last year in the Championship and our wage bill is much higher now. In fact we would have to sell just to break even. I'm gues...

Re: Season tickets 2013/14

Westwood52 £425 for Championship tickets is toooooo much-£325 to £350 for renewals is about right-if they come in at around that level and bring in Poyet (or better)-I will renew.

If I remember correctly, my first season ticket for the 2010-11 season was £395.

Re: Season tickets 2013/14

So i'm going to predict . . .

Poyet to be announced as manager tomorrow.

Season ticket renewals announced on Monday - price £425 for adults. Deadline of 26th April in order to keep seat.

Tickets go back on sale 1st June at £449.

I want to add my thanks to McDermott for all he's done over the last few years. He had a fantastic approach to the game and technically remains one of our most successful managers.

Re: Man Utd and Arsenal away in league ticket prices

If i'm reading the information provided by the train company correctly, it is saying that journeys from Reading to Waterloo will take an additional 50 minutes on that day. So over 2 hours. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/managed/service-disruptions/en08b015f4ac4be89f22c21cb8ff1a80/additionalMaps/Read...

Re: Man Utd and Arsenal away in league ticket prices

Having thought about it, I do actually consider it amazing that a game like Arsenal goes all the way to general sale. I mean, it's easy to get to , it's cheap, it might be quite fun. Yet at least 15,000 season ticket holders don't fancy it. I'm quite happy, because as a non-season ticket holder I c...

Re: Best Place To Park

Back to old blighty after years of working abroad. Can I still park close to the Stadium in one of the side streets? Waverly Road was always a good bet for a late arrival. I will be driving via the Oxford Road from the A417 to Streatly, the "Rose and Crown" at Basildon was an old favourat...

Re: Season tickets 2013/14

Out of interest, how did the season ticket process pan out in 2008 when we went down last time? Did they try and put tickets up for sale for £500+ early on?

I've only been a ticket holder since 2010-2011 so am used to the early requests for renewal.

RG30
The following changes will apply:

Most trains between London Paddington and Reading will terminate / start from Maidenhead

What does that actually mean? That there won't be any direct trains between Reading and Paddington?

RFC Website

Hi - long time browsers, first time poster. Does anyone else agree that the club website is absolute pants? When they changed it last year I thought to myself "look, no one likes new websites when they launch. Give it a few months and you'll get used to it". But I still think it's a comple...
