Re: If you didn't support Reading who would you support and

I was a Chelsea fan since I was 3 years old until about 2004 (33 years) when Chelsea became too expensive. I'm born and bred in Reading and always supported them as a "second team". Started going to Reading in 2004 and haven't looked back since. I guess I was one of the plastic fans 8 year...

Re: Bars in the North Stand

The only reason I knew it was open was because of HNA. Not sure if the club have really made an effort to publicise it. My guess is that nobody knows its open.

Re: Why so negative after three games?

Have to agree 100%.

Before the first game how many would have realistically predicted that we would have more than 1 point after playing these three teams. Give it a few weeks and see where we are then.

Re: Bars in the North Stand

The North stand bar was open. We went there and had a pint. Only about 15 people were there and the bar staff (6 - 7 of them) said they would only be open for an hour. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they stop doing it because of the small numbers of people using it.

Re: 2011/12 DVD

I can do a copy if anyone wants. Already done a couple of copies for some guys on HNA. Printed cover and CD stickers to match the original ones. Just a few ££ to cover the cost of disk and printing

Re: 2011/12 DVD

Why is the merchandising department so shyte?! I wanted to buy an RFC Tax Disc Holder but if the on-line store is anything to go by, they don't even produce and sell something that simple. Reckon they could be produced for less than 70p each and retail at £2.50 - £3.00! A cheap item that would prob...

Re: Championship Winner Medals

The club can get as many medals as they want.

Look at last year. Both Alex McCarthy and Mikkel Andersen got medals but didn't play a single minute.

Re: When was your first Reading game?

7th October 1987 - vs Chelsea in the League Cup.

Reading lost the match but won the tie after a 3-1 home win at Elm Park.

I was in the Shed end and at the time was a Chelsea Fan!?!?!?!? Was only 15 but soon changed my ways and have supported Reading for 10 years now.

Re: Flag rules

Don't think so, I've put velcro stickers on the cladding panels as we're back row in the west and put the flag up every game. No complaints. Didn't remove the stickers over the summer either.

Re: Supporters who grass

The people behind me last night were complaining about us standing and eventually moved. I'm all for standing even though I have an 8 year old and 11 year old who have to stand on the seat to see. What I don't like, as happened last night is when we score a goal and those behind you start jumping o...

We went to the North stand after the game. Probably 50 people in there including stoke fans. They closed the shutters at 5:30'ish

I still have the three tickets available for Chelsea. 1 adult and 2 U18 (or over 65). Open to offers if face value is too much for some.

He ended the season with thirteen goals in La Liga, with the season's highest ratio of goals scored to number of minutes played.

For Sale - Chelsea Away - 1 Adult and 2 U18 tickets

I have 3 spare tickets for Chelsea away, one adult and two U18. Upper Tier, row 12. These were bought by me, but a friend also managed to get some so don't need these anymore. The ticket office have said I am free to sell them so hopefully no rules broken. Cost - face value - Adult £50, U18 £23.50. ...

Re: Chelsea and Sunderland Away

I'm going to this but have got spare tickets as a friend got some for me as well. The ticket office won't take them back and have told me its ok to sell them on. I therefore have an adult ticket and 2 under 18 for sale. Face value will do, £50 + two at £23.50. All in Upper.

Message me if interested.
