Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Yeah, but when you make a judgement in reference to a clip you haven't seen it does leave you open to looking a bit of a twat. We've already got mot, we don't need another.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Thing is, Yann was right, we marked Woods out of the game and they offered nothing. For all Monk's talk of a good second half and nobody begrudging them a point, I don't remember them creating anything. They pressurised us but absolutely no end product. Watching the football league show, it was int...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I liked Stam's response about it, basically "didn't see it, others have said it was bad. I don't believe any player would go out to deliberately stamp on someone's head but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves".

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by Slumber, Inc

Let's be honest, the last thing Leeds won was a high court reprieve.

Re: Rival Watch

Realistically those games against Wigan and Rotherham really should be 6 points though. All the other games will be tough Agreed I do think we'll beat Blackburn due to being at home but I don't think we'll get anything from Norwich or Villa. Forest and Burton are scrapping for their lives so I woul...

I'll give you that. Celebrating the silver anniversary next month?

Anything this millenium? Play off final defeat to Doncaster perhaps? I'm sure there's an ironic chant in there somewhere.

Re: Leeds united

Jeez mot, stop being such a one eyed melt. It precisely that sort of attitude that has given Leeds fans a nationwide reputation as a bunch of ignorant cock knockers. Champions of Europe. It was 40 years ago, ancient history. Haven't you got something a bit more recent to sing about? I appreciate you...

Re: Leeds united

A m8 of mine came back to find his car window smashed and bonnet dented. They just can't handle being beat by little old Reading. Didnt Happen!! I've been watching Reading away for nigh on 30 years. I've watched us at Elland Rd 5 times. It is the only ground that I've been to where I have been phys...

Re: Rival Watch

Don't like the look of Fulham's last 4 games. I think they'll miss out. Huddersfield seem to have hit a wall so their game in hand isn't looking quite so handy any more. I am going to stick my neck out and say: 1. Newcastle 98 2. Brighton 92 3. Leeds 83 4. Reading 81 5. Huddersfield 80 6. Sheffield ...

Re: Rival Watch

2 defeats without scoring against 2 teams in the bottom 3 at the time of playing them. Huddersfield have really hit a wall at the wrong time, I'm thinking I'd rather be playing them in the playoffs.

Re: Leeds united

The Informant Watching Stams team this season has been utterrly miserable and boring. Thats the reason for thr shit atmosphere. I honestly dont thing we have played forward from a throw once.

Hoping Pards comes back.

Seem to remember Dean Smith getting upset about us scoring from a quickly taken throw in.

Re: Leeds united

Funny thing is, living in West Yorkshite for 10 years, I knew more Man Utd fans than Leeds fans and I lived 7 miles from Elland Road.

Re: Ups & downs 16/17

Same could be said for most provincial Scottish clubs although to be fair to you, the whole of the population of Dingwall could fit inside Ross County's ground with room to spare and it's only got a capacity 6,500.

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

John Hartson was refreshingly honest. Along the lines of "You don't go on the pitch with the intention of injuring someone but there's no excusing that, it was an awful challenge"

Re: Next Few Games

Burton still have to play 4 of the top 5. Blackburn haven't lost under Mowbray. Bristol City have won their last 2 and are unbeaten in 6. Admittedly they've had the bottom 3 in those six games but picked up 7 points against them as well as hammering Huddersfield. They seem to be getting their act to...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

To be fair kes, there's 14 posts on this page excluding this and 4 of them are you making a disparaging reference to Liverpool, their manager or their fans, either individually and collectively. Not bad for Chelsea fan on a thread about Manchester United. You can see why people might think you're ob...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Holsgrove is still 16 so to be playing in u23s is an achievement. He is the one they fancy most of all apparently. Dismissed by some judges because he runs funny. No pace but has great vision and touch. Only what I'm told by a fellow academy parent. Seem to remember his dad having the gait of an as...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Oh, the irony of being accused of cheating by supporters of a team that employs Fernando Forestieri, a player I like by the way, even if he does lose his balance and clutch his face when someone looks at him. Always had a soft spot for Wednesday ever since the Howard Wilkinson days and generally fin...
