Re: Peterborough (A) Match Thread Sponsored by COC (lol)

Over to you Anton And that's exactly where the problem is, look out for massive happenings in September , heard it hear first We had a weak squad by premier league standards, with a lack of investment, but this result isn't about a lack of investment. Even with the changes we've made, losing to Pet...

Re: Peterborough (A) Match Thread Sponsored by COC (lol)

Not bothered we getting spanked. Peterborough class side, 442 was a big mistake. If we don't get a decent forward in this week were oxf*rd. No hate on Adkins from me. We've let in four to a 3rd division side. As much as a striker who can play a 4-3-3 would be handy, I can't see how it's a huge fact...

Re: Non - League thread 2013/14

Went to Bracknell v Ascot.

Could I, at the 10th time of asking, actually see a Bracknell win, with them doing well so far?

No chance. Lost 0-5, with all goals in the first half, with them being fortunate that Ascot coasted after the break.

That takes my Bracknell record to W0 D3 L7 F8 A43

So you're one of those stereotypical Berkshire-based Chelsea supporters who became a glory-hunting plastic Reading fan when we started doing well, but got bored when we went down and went back to being a Chelsea an? That's fair enough. I admire the honesty. are there any glory seekers that live in ...

Albert Spangler
buzzby Millwalls kit man forgets to bring the kit to the SWFC game. Millwall to play in Wednesdays away kit :D :D

This is one of my favourite things ever

We had to do that once at Huddersfield. It's quite horrible watching your team in another team's kit.

Re: Blackpool (A) - Match Thread sponsored by a day at the s

"BBtBB says" Worst mistake today was not playing the same 11 that started last week..... Exactly. Last week, first half, played great and took apart a team expecting to be in automatic play offs. This week playing a team with nowhere near the same ability - so why not put the same team ou...

Re: Police Warning

Although why they always stress that the big sanction is being "banned from the world cup" is beyond me. A Football Banning Order stops you attending any games in the top 5 divisions, which to me would be a far greater loss than not being allowed to travel to tournaments abroad. It'd be a...

Re: Brian: The right decision?

So basically we've got an 83 page thread full of people adamant that they like McDermott, but don't hate Adkins, arguing with people who say the like Adkins, but don't hate McDermott?

Just as long as it's not been a waste of time or anything.

Re: Brian: The right decision?

Can people not grasp that liking the job Adkins is doing doesn't mean someone spent last year sticking pins into a McDermott voodoo doll. Amazing as it may seem, it is actually possible to think McDermott was treated shabbily, yet still be happy Adkins is here. I'm sure it is however that is not th...

@LoyalRoyalFan @Woodcote Royal @melonhead Why don't you get a room with your boyfriend McDonut   It's called decency I suppose. McDermott, a man who served us very well over 10 years - a man who won us a title no less - was treated like shit by some on here. Excuse us if we don't agree w...

Re: Brian: The right decision?

Sorry but the players still don't know how to properly defend a lead, and that is down to one Brian McDermott and his style of management. We seemed pretty decent at defending leads in the championship, and didn't get too many opportunities in the premier. a team that sits on a two-goal is always a...

Re: (not yet) BFTG: Watford (H)

I'm scratching my head as to how we fell apart so much in the last 20 mins. We made the mistake of sitting back and trying to just play the game out for a 2-0 win. It gave them the initiative, the momentum, and once they scored, the confidence. It's very hard to step up a gear again against a team ...

I really don't get a lot of the hate? It's something a bit different, and I imagine most of those who hate the idea would be sulking even more if it had been another behind closed doors friendly, just enjoy it for what it is! ...or just do something else instead. It's a friendly that people are fre...
