Re: Back From The Game - Sheff Wed (H)

Didnt think we were that outstanding to be honest but we took our chances excellently when they came along With 5 minutes to go before half time we looked like a shaddow of the team that started very well and it looked like we could be made to pay for our lack of cutting edge in the first 40 minutes...

Re: Adam off to Spurs now...

ZacNaloen Clangers never really did David James any harm.

Despite all the bad press he was never as bad as they made out

He has got a lot better as time goes by too, but we need a keeper for now, not 10 years time

Re: FAO Jimmy Kebe

Kebe is still shit The amount of good positions he wastes is shocking, not to mention some of the lack of effort at times, but for an attacking player to be so bad so often and waste the good build up play is criminal At least when Hughes used to do it his defensive work went some way to make up for...

Re: WBA F.A Cup Replay - Official Match Thread

FedeROFLici Even the first one wasnt really good enough keeping First one was dire, second one hilarious. I love the way on impact of the second one we almost get a forward belly flop as it trickles in. TAIBI!!! Still they won in the end so we can ALOL about it  How many times does he have to ...

Re: I wish Coppell loved the cup

And yet we still had a better players sitting on the sidelines, although I think that was probably the strongest fa cup side that Coppell ever fielded

Re: I wish Coppell loved the cup

They were pretty shit international players and werent as good as the players he left out

Maybe we could have done better, but to be fair we got knocked out by some of the best sides, but who knows what might have happened if we had tried to win those games

Re: WBA F.A Cup Replay - Official Match Thread

Schards said the stewards started pushing and shoving the players about at the end, if it's caught on camera and Jobi was merely retaliating to a push by a steward, he should be let off - but I bet he won't be. Never heard of retaliation being a defence for violent conduct  We will ha...

Re: WBA F.A Cup Replay - Official Match Thread

I don't give a flying one about your oxf*rd desk Dellor First game I've listened to on Radio Berks the whole way through since Joel Hufford sacked it off, Dellor is absolutely AWFUL. I've listened to the whole game and tbh I couldn't give an accurate description of whats happened thus far. I can ho...

Re: WBA F.A Cup Replay - Official Match Thread

And another long range shot spilled by Federici!!!! Perhaps we should remember the one on one with Benayuon where he kept us in the Cup That is what he is paid quite handsomely to do though, if he didnt make any saves he wouldnt be much of a keeper would he!!! Cut out the many many costly er...

Re: WBA F.A Cup Replay - Official Match Thread

What did Federici do? WBA goal: Well that didn't take long, did it? A shot from Robert Koren goes underneath Reading keeper Adam Federici and straight into the net. Baggies delight, but the Royals keeper might think he should have done better. BBC Live Text in understatement of the year going by th...

Re: WBA F.A Cup Replay - Official Match Thread

To quote Southbank on another thread.. He makes too many mistakes for me He was shit when he first came over, worked hard and earnt his chance as a cheap backup to our excellent and durable first choice He can make some excellent saves, which is his job, but his blunders are a bit too often to be a...

Re: Adam off to Spurs now...

£2m? Sold... Still not convinced by him, and for that money, and it making our finances that bit more secure with some promising youngsters here to possibly take his place, I'd sell at that price. I still don't understand why you and others aren't convinced by him yet. He's saved our bacon numerous...

Re: Back from the game - Blackpool

Sounds more like an excuse than a reason Its still going to be a long battle to avoid relegation, and I think a few of the team might have thought they could take their foot off the gas after 4 wins on the trot. Hopefully the performance and result will make them realise they cant The most worrying ...

Re: Life after Brendan

We don't play as nice stuff, but we look much more effective and confident. Personally I found the 'nice stuff' under Brendan rather dull. Reminiscent of Arsenal on a bad day, only without the individual skills to marvel at. His narrow brand of keep-ball with a choked midfield was the polar opposit...
