Alexander Litvinenko Talk of Clattenberg instigating legal action for defamation of character.

And understandably so.

Any scope for the guy who raised the complaint to be charged with wasting police time?

Re: Wigan Away

Only if you're comparing getting the train with driving up on your own. Stick 4 in a car and Wigan is far cheaper.

Only if you don't include travel cost. Probably about the same as QPR when you think about it.

Not if you're travelling in a car.

Re: The Season Starts here

What would people see as a good return from those games? 9 points? I think something around 8/9 would be good, for sure - if we're close to a point a game (overall) at the end, then I see that we are definitely still at the party. I think 8 or 9 is would be enough on the proviso that we get somethi...

Re: England World Cup Qualifiers

Super_horns We should still get to Brazil 2014 but displays like this will certainly dampen the hype and expectations (potentially)

Not going to happen - the tabloid-mentality will set in and we'll apparently be shoe-ins for winning the thing the moment the qualifiers finish.

cmonurz The Liverpool Echo says that two rows of houses would be affected. One a row of derelict properties behind the main stand - the club actually owns the majority of these already, the council the rest.

And the majority of which (on my last visit in 2008) were boarded up anyway.

Re: St. George's Park

In theory, yes, but it's a pretty basic qualification. But in reality if that was enforced there'd be far less youth football because there just aren't enough properly qualified coaches to go round. Can't speak for all leagues but the East Berks and Berkshire Youth Leagues now insist on caching bad...

Not arrested yet, but Michael Chopra and James Coppinger appear to be in a bit of trouble: Following an investigation into suspicious betting activity on a number of races, the British Horseracing Authority has charged nine individuals with serious breaches of the Rules of Racing. The allegations fo...

Re: Bitter Fake hoops

The Kebe incident I thought for a moment was going to be a red, he went in hard but it looked worse due to the wet conditions, it wasn't two footed or studs-up from what I could see so yellow the right call. Mick Gooding on BBCRB was quite irate about this booking - he said that Kebe actually slipp...
