Buying the new home shirt online

It doesn't seem to offer the premiership badges as an extra when you purchase the shirt. You'd think the club would have made a point of putting the badges right under your nose so they could maybe make an extra fiver, but it seems not. Also couldn't find the badges anywhere in the online club shop.

Very disappointing but I suppose it shouldn't have come as a suprise. Well, they know exactly what they can do with their Reading World subscription. Exactly, it's a shit service anyway. The idea of paying what they want for it is ridiculous, much like a number of other money making schemes the clu...

Just booked 2 tickets for nephew and cousins in south stand, row n behind the goal.
Strange though how they say we have sold all 18,000 season tickets with 1,000 people missing out, yet we still have rows of seats empty for the biggest game in our history.

Reading's Steve Sidwell could face action from Royals' boss Steve Coppell after branding the club's pre-season preparations as "a joke". (Daily Star) From the BBC gossip page http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/5255050.stm Hit him in the pocket, Coppell. He doesn...

Only one Trevor Morley looking at the Chronicle website, it appears that we'd need to pay a million for him - I thought he'd be available on a free?

He's on a 4 year deal and a Cameroon international. A million seems reasonable if we are interested.

Re: support to RFC & Seol from Seoul :)

PS1... i don't know why reading is red-ding not reading (a book)??? I'm not sure why it's pronounced like that either! I think, historically, our name used to be spelt as Redding. I might be wrong. The settlement was founded at the confluence of the River Thames and River Kennet in the eighth centu...

I'm shocked that Russia seems to be a backward country. What possessed Bikey to go there in the first place? I believe he was offered a contract of employment by a professional football club. I think that could well be it Maguire, good call. That's possibly correct, but he must have had the option ...

Re: Sidwell's comments in the post today

http://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/2002/2002999/sidwell__game_was_just_a_joke Can't help but wonder if Sidwell would have made these comments in public if we was happy at the club. Can't see it going down well with the management ! I agree Sidwell would probably have kept his mouth shut had he's bee...

I thought the rise in season ticket prices was meant to cover the cost of new players being brought into the squad. Or something. I'm more concerned that the likes of Shittu prefer to sign for Watford than us. My thoughts exactly. I feel at a loss as to what has been going on behind the scenes with...

Re: Madejski - Shortest Pitch in the Prem!

At 102 yards. Just been bored and looking at pitch sizes. Reading have the shortest pitch and nearly the narrowest in the Prem. I wonder if they'll get hammered away from home quite a bit as some of the pitches are at least 10ft longer! Our pitch is 102 metres long, not 102 yards. Tis indeed ------...

Or maybe our team will relish the larger pitches and spread the play a bit more. It never did Arsenal any harm having a narrow pitch, and I think, shorter too!

I'm unaware of what our allocation will be but, I quote "Away fans are located in the North Stand at one end of the stadium. Up to 5,400 visiting supporters can be accommodated in this area."

I would be surprised if we took 2,500. Getting tickets will not be a problem.

The villa game is on sale for there fans already so RFC must have the ticket details for that game aswell And Wigan tickets go on sale on Tuesday for their fans. Does anyone think that I will get a Wigan ticket with 333 points? Yes. I doubt strongly that we'll sell our full away allocation at Wigan.

Farnborough Royal I thought the idea of increasing ST prices was that we could strengthen the squad. So why have we only bought players :?

It can be justified as we've sold 18,000 of them. That said, how do Portsmouth, Wigan, Fulham, Watford and Charlton’s prices compare as they have ground capacities of between 20-27k? Not too dissimilar to us. Portsmouth - £545 Wigan - £340 Fulham - £469 Watford - not listed on their website Ch...
