Does anyone know for sure if any money actually changed hands or not. The website refers to undisclosed sums which makes me suspect we must have paid money in addition to Seol.

Just wondered if anyone knew for sure.

If no money changed hands looks like a great deal to me.

I was impressed with Fae - but clearly he will be much better in centre midfield. I am really confused about Kevin Doyle - he has been fantastic for us for two seasons but now seems devoid of confidence. Even as early as the Peace Cup he did not seem quite right to me but I have no idea why. He has ...

I must admit that I found today's performance truly hard to watch. It was by any stretch of the imagination awful and few players came out with any credit. BUT - remember we have had two fantastic years. For some reason the players are clearly short of confidence right now. If the fans give them a r...

Very unlikely this was a straight swap unfortunately. Fulham valued Rosenoir at between £2 and £3M so I would think we gave them Seol (valued at £1M) plus either 1M or 2M cash. Still overall a good long term deal as Murty not getting any younger but I am worried about our right wing options as Fa...

I can still see no chance of Shorey leaving tomorrow. It would be pointless selling him at this stage. Even if we wanted to sell him we would wait til January when clubs are desperate and will pay over the odds. By then we will have good idea if we are a/ going to be mid table, b/ relegated or c/ in...

The rumour going round is that West Ham have tabled a bid for Shorey. I really hope that we would not accept any bid (however large) for Shorey - that would be a sign of going backwards as far as I am concerned. He is contracted for two more years so no need to sell him for at least 12 months (if he...

Worse still, a 38,000 seater stadium with barely 20,000 in it - and that is provided we don't get relegated. My source in the ticket office tells me that we are struggling to break the 21,000 mark for Everton on Saturday . RFC needs as 38,000 capacity about as much as I need a two-car garage. Unles...

For those criticising the team don't forget that virtually the same players lost 2-1 to Plymouth in our first league game just 2 years ago. It is testament to how far we have come that we are now playing one of the best teams in the World and bemoaning a lack of finishing in the first half for depri...

Booing one of our own players can never be justified. How would any of you like it if your boss came into work every day and told you you were rubbish and all you customers were also abusive to you. As Coppell has said many times already Seol brings something different to the team - he is no Glen Li...

To be fair I did not think that Styles had that bad a game - we had far worse many times last year. The sending off was fair enough but what does annoy me is the inconsistency. If we agree that Kitson's sending off was fair enough then why on earth were Riggott and Upson not sent off last year for e...

This debate is going round in circles. Facts 1/Sidwell has gone - we have replaced him with Cisse so we have the same number of central midfield players that we did last year. 2/ Sidwell was not that great in a lot of matches last year 3/Gunnarson has always done well when he has played in central m...

People on this board go on and on about Sidwell but they forget two things. In the Championship winning season he was injured for a large part and only played 29 games but we never lost once when he did not play. Gunnarson and Oster filled in well. Secondly last season he had a lot of weak performan...

Why are some people on this forum so negative

Although I have never posted before I am a long time Reading fan and have attended most matches for years - so please don't call me a newbie or plastic after what I am about to say. Although I often read the comments on here I have not posted before because I am often appalled by the rubbish being s...
