Re: Rival Watch

A Bournemouth equaliser would be ideal. Barnsley now just three off us with a game in hand.

Re: Rival Watch

At the start of the month we were 16 points ahead of Cardiff. By the end of it we may well be below them. Astonishing. Sure we overachieved at the start of the season. Overall we have underperformed since then. They seem to be on a Brian McDermott style run don’t they. Looking at our squad vs their...

Re: Rival Watch

Sad to say but I see our rivals as Bournemouth, Cardiff, Barnsley, Stoke and Boro.
Not overly concerned with Norwich, Watford, Swansea and Brentford.

Pepe the Horseman Only just realised that if Barnsley win they'll be 3 behind us with a game in hand

They have loads of winnable games coming up too.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

Expect another mashup of an XI at Rotherham. VP will persist with 4-2-3-1 and I reckon the changes will see Yiadom and Richards return in place of Holmes and McIntyre plus one of Ejaria, Semedo and Olise dropped. Yes likely. Rafael’s position surely has to be considered too. He didn’t do anywhere n...

Re: Rival Watch

I'm all for a Cardiff win now. The added pressure of someone right down our neck might actually kick the team back into gear. IIRC we’ve dropped out of the playoffs for only one match day so far this season (between Brentford and Luton) After that, we went on a solid run, with a record of 4-2-0, so...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham united (a)

If Pauno plays Rinomhota as a forward again, he can oxf*rd off. I don't mind a losing run or poor performances. It happens, it's been a good season. I do mind the manager making oxf*rd ludicrous decisions that cost us what should be comfortable points. Swift and Meite being out is no excuse. Stop o...

Re: Rival Watch

Bournmouth v Cardiff.......best result for us? Draw or Bournmouth brining Cardiff down to Earth. Cardiff to me now look out biggest threat......apart from us threatening ourselves of course. I'm all for a Cardiff win now. The added pressure of someone right down our neck might actually kick the tea...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

So the pen misses now of cost us 5 points at least. Arguably 8. If we draw level with Brum you have to fancy the win against ten men. We lost. So three dropped points. If he scores against Preston it’s very likely to be the winner. We drew. So two lost points. If he scores tonight we have plenty of...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Difficult to give anyone more than a four.Including Velcro. Ejaria was terrific. T I must have missed that or perhaps he looked terrific compared to the rest of them. Someone mentioned that Joao went into a sulk after the penalty miss. He was in a sulk from about ten minutes in. Should've been told...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

No one seems to want it do they? Us, Bournemouth, Boro...all in a competition to cock it up! Always seems to be the case that at this stage of the season you get really inconsistent results from the teams near the top, and I have no idea why. Is there an element of the other teams working them out?...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Terrible performance against a poor Wycombe side tonight. Clear from the off the players weren't up for this one, yet unclear why. And Joao for all his strengths and high points this season again absolutely heads down and sulking after missing the penalty, much like vs Preston. Some work ahead to g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

I haven’t felt so annoyed with the manager and team for so long. Once again the opposition wanted it more than us. Not good enough.
More of the same on Saturday I suspect.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Difficult to give anyone more than a four.Including Velcro. Ejaria was terrific. The rest poor with special mention for Joao who needs to be dropped. Steaming that we lost to such a poor side. We created nothing after the sending off. We are so mentally weak. We have lost 11 and only won 8 since th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

This is season defining I feel. Joao has undone so much of his good work with three missed pens. It’s cost us dear.
Will give Rotherham a miss.Pauno has some explaining for this.
