Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Top Flight
I am not addicted to gambling first of all.

'What can I bet on today?'

And an acca is an accumulator bet. Multiple odds for betting on a series of results.

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

About a year ago OH wrote a little algorithm which queries the database of a well known gaming company....it is set to trigger a 0.01 'bet' anytime it finds an anomaly or 'good value' between odds offered ....the 'account' is currently at £10k profit. Obviously, he is not allowed to have a gaming a...

Re: CheLOLsea

Moses is the Hal Robson-Kanu of the Premier League. Seemingly no standout abilities, but he's managed to convince the likes of Bilic, Hughes, Rodgers, Mourinho and Conte to pick him.

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Might be imagining it, and have only watched two games, but there appeared to be a distinct drop-off in the amount of whinging at and haranguing of referees, particularly on Chelsea's part.

Re: Premier League 2016/17 - General Discussion

No Fixed Abode I never said Oscar was clothes lined but you did say you're allowed to use arms to tackle now

Interesting technique you have if you don't use your arms when playing football.
You almost admitted Oscar is a diving child there. Almost.

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Can you tell me what you're betting on so I can be 660 up as well. You are equating profit with 'being good at betting'. Leicester won the league last season. People who bet on Manchester City to win the league are not 'bad at betting'. And by definition - if you need to ask doubled for tips, then ...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Top Flight You guys are right. I don't need to bet on every game.

Anyone got any betting ideas on tonight's games? I reckon there could be some opportunities in League One tonight.

Re: Premier League 2016/17 - General Discussion

Football is a contact sport. Whenever players challenge for the ball they use their arms. Oscar could have run straight through it, he chose not to. Pathetic. It is a contact sport, but (exaggeration here) you can't rugby tackle someone. He deliberately put his arms out to impeded Oscar. The fall m...

Re: Premier League 2016/17 - General Discussion

Lucky Costa, but Chelsea just about value for their win. I don’t think there was any malice in that challenge – not a straight red, but absolutely a yellow, it was late, over the ball and through Adrian’s ankle. Cracking finish from Costa for the winner. and lucky West Ham. We had two clear penalti...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Have had 5 bets so far this season, decent start, thanks to Diego Costa. Backed Fulham to beat Newcastle at 3/1 Lost three bets - Liverpool to win 3-1 at Arsenal (looked great for a couple of minutes, but should have layed it off), Sanchez first goal (why did Walcott take the bloody pen?!) and Terry...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

You're right. Unfortunately I have now done it. Alan Brazil this morning said on talksport that he thought 3.5 to 1 for the draw was good value. I have just put a small fiver on the draw. I don't want to risk more than that on a very difficult to predict game. You're addicted. And you're ignoring a...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Don’t want you to feel you’re getting a hard time here – just interested in your thought process. You staked £18 to win £10 based on a snippet of Owen Hargeaves’ thoughts. That’s where you went wrong. You wanted to bet so much you threw £18 on a game you hadn’t picked up until half time. On your ana...

From Despair To Where? Do Barnsley have a sell on clause? Could be a good bit of business for them too.

Understood to be 15%, nets them a cool £7m.

Re: Championship/L1/L2 2016/17

As I said on the betting thread, the pre-season Fulham has looked a decent unit, a few new signings like Madl and Aluko are of the right kind of quality; key for Fulham won't imho be at the back (where they struggled) or up front (where they are Aluko, Cairney, Woodrow and that big lump Matt Smith) ...

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

So after advising TF not to bet at the start of the season, I'm going to have a medium sized nibble tonight at Craven Cottage - Fulham are unbeaten in pre-season and there are some good 'feels' around the place, a team including new signings that have gelled pretty quickly and moved on from the loss...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Only saw him in the home game last year, but thought he was very ordinary. That free-kick he took was hilarious. I believe about 5 people ran over the ball only for him to smack it straight into the wall ..... IIRC He was arguably Fulham's best player last season - works incredibly hard, a bit of a...

And being a bit shit at Everton has bagged Roberto Martinez the Belgium manager's job. That's Belgium, ranked 2nd in the world. Roberto Martinez.
