Ian Royal We hold on... just. Sounds like thanks to Preston's utter mediocrity rather than our own skill. Should really have won that comfortably and had it put to bed in the first half.

Re: Do You Rate Chris Gunter?

Defensively adequate Offensively wastes to many opportunities to threaten, either poor decision making or inability to stick in a decent cross I cannot see us ever getting promoted with CG as right back Yeah, it's never ever happened before  Not with Gunter as right back, no. Has he got a pro...

Re: BFTG Ipswich

It's a pity the Thais couldn't identify another right back before the window closed there must be one from Portugal or other hot beds of world football like Siberia or even Mozambique that McDermott didn't know that they could have picked up ? Teams defend not individuals. Many of the poor goals co...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

How did Piazon and Hal play? Both pretty crap to be honest. A little harsh on Robson-Kanu perhaps, but only because he had to play on the wrong side once McCleary went off injured and perhaps Piazon who was positively involved in a few key moments of course. I'd have been tempted to hook Piazon off...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

Despite the -2 temperatures that was an excellent night's entertainment for £10. Awful start however with Cooper and Ferdinand getting torn to shreds. Cooper at fault for the first misplacing his header and the lack of clearance cost us for the second. Could and should have been 4 with Al-Habsi com...

Re: FAO Chris Gunter

Typical of some of the footballing ignorant idiots on here that they first completely incorrectly blame Gunter for conceding the penalty (clearly weren't at the game and didn't even bother to look at the video) and then, rather than just concede they were wrong, still try to pin some of the blame o...

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

Anyway, my comments. I thought we were pretty bad today and that it was a nailed-on 0-0 draw, but it was superb to grab that goal, I love last minute winners, one of my favourite things in football. A much needed 3 points and the fact it came in the 90th minute might give our confidence more of a b...

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

I thought we showed a lot of promise today and fully deserved to win. El Habsi may make occasional blunders but he looks a far better keeper and actually commands his box Gunter , IMO played well. He made some important interceptions and going forward got into great positions but at least three tim...

Never voted as was a waste of time but I have to say the creator of this thread is looking more and more stupid each week. Even though the season was just starting one couldn't just be satisfied with facilitating this voting system. Instead of waiting one had to get ahead of themselves and talk some...

Re: BFTG . Derby

Well that was annoying. As I said in the prediction thread I felt it would be either a high-scoring end to end affair, or a 0-0 with most of the play in front of the defence. The latter was being played out with both defences standing strong. Derby got off to a flyer and within 5 minutes had got in...

Re: Back from the sofa

I just don't understand why people thought that "Orlando Sa, Sa, always believe in your soul...." was a good idea for a song? It was under the Madejski lights, he scored three times, Orlando... Also agree that Bond had a good enough game, and that McShane was far from MOTM. Blackman was f...

Pepe the Horseman Yep, absolutely proving me wrong. Good on him. Let's hope he can keep it up.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

http://www.twtd.co.uk/forum/355190/what-worried-me-tonight/#5 Ipswich fans take a break from ploughing fields and murdering prostitutes to proclaim Reading as "not particularly good". I will be amazed if Reading finish in the top half of the table, they were not very good. They're obvious...

Re: Strongest XI

I have an idea of our best 11 going by how I would like to see us play but form, freshness and opposition will have a big influence on who starts (mainly in midfield and attack) As for HRK, whilst many on here are dropping him right down the pecking with all the new arrivals I have a strong feeling ...
