My son and I lost points when our seats were moved during the HST debacle (I still long for my old seat). These were finally returned last week after 9 months of calls, emails and faxes. Good Luck.

EASTENDER MARKY Alan Pardew's a wnker,
He wears a wnker's hat,
He used to be a Royal,
But now he's just a tw*t.

Norfolk Royal Reading V Doncaster Rovers, circa 1971/2.

All I remember is that we won 2-0 and I got my shoes soaked in piss in the south bank toilets, aged around nine.

Was that the game with the purple kit (i'll keep asking)! Thought it was more like '74!

Re: To those who left 10 minutes before the full time whistl

SpaceCruiser Did you come back for the extra time when you realised that Reading had equalised?

Or, did you carry on home because that was your deal with the kids on a school night.

My first game was against Darlington on 8th September 1984. We lost 1-4. That has reminded me of possibly the worst football kit of all time. From my (dimming) memory I recall a game in the early '70's when I'm sure it was Doncaster who turned up in an all purple away kit. Anyone confirm this for me?

To be fair to Hansen, his criticism of Sonko against Boro was valid and therein lies the difference between him and Lawrenson. Hansen will try to analyse the situation, you may not agree with him but he does try to present his opinions with some evidence to back it up. Lawrenson just says what he t...

Just watch the highlights on OS and I'd mark Hanheman up from a 7. Several saves were well held, with City players bearing down on him (unlike Boro). Give him a 9 too.

No problem , just some ignorant poster spewing his claptrap. Problem - didn't say there was one, just current evidence does not support expansion, based on my commercial experience. Ignorant - against any measure you may select, I'm certain that a jury of 12 will vote you the more ignorant. You're ...

Re: Expanding the Mad Stat

Well if we can't sell out 24K a week with ease, then there is no point on anymore threads on planning the expansion to 40K. We'll just be "Little Ol' Reading 'till I die!" Very early in the season to question that. All tickets were sold for Boro and our 2nd game is on a Monday night on TV...

BBC vs 107

Only realised during the game that I can get BBC Berks coverage on-line too these days. Listened for a while, but returned to 107. Sorry, but Gilkes/ Hunter were just more articulate and perceptive about what was going on tha Little and Co. i.e. Just coz we made some noise about reinstating your cov...

Saw the new shirt in the flesh, so to speak, for the first time today - god is it awful. Who the hell designed that, looks like a Primary School make a new Reading shirt competition winner. Watching the match today, I have to say that I couldn't get out of my head the idea that we were watching Ips...

Yes, it was just a clue to help people get online and use that service. Although I couldn't use any combination of upper, lower or spaces no spaces with my postcode and had to phone them to change it in the end. I've had that problem three times! Despite what it says, they actually do enter the pos...
