barmy_army008 I'd just like to see what the shirt looks like.

Surely they could just put a picture up on the website or something.

Boyd has lost his colouring set and his mum won't buy him another one till next term!

Platypuss Of course effect can also be a verb.

Just not in this case.

Good point! I nominate you to act as English grammar tutor at RFC!

papereyes "> Both of these are test products and are nothing to worry about. It will

Presumably written by the person who checks the spelling and grammar on the OS!

effect = noun
affect = verb

Why would you need to seek permission before publicising YOUR letter? LOL @ RFC, clueLOLess I assume they meant the response from the club, which was a personal response to Dang and as such they have the right to ask permission before it is posted elsewhere. Yeh, wouldn't want to be publically emba...

Thing is, will those who change get a refund to reflect one less digit?! Believe its a standard price whether you're having "Doyle - 9" or "van whateveritis of hesselink - 17" printed on the back! You don't think Boyd and co have really missed out on that opportunity to get a bit more blood out of ...

still waiting for the new home shirt to be revealed!! :roll: Reckon it's going to be late - they're leading on squad numbers today! Apparently they are contacting people who pre-ordered the new away shirt with 19 on it to see whether they want to change it to 9, now that is Doyle's squad number. Ca...

Scrappy The things they put down have holes in anyway so the pitch gets a fair bit of sunlight.

Now that's good thinking! (till someone gets their heel stuck in one of the holes and sues for a broken ankle! :wink: )

Another perspective if not a popular one 20,000 tickets sold at £20 per ticket = £400,000 Cost to put on the game £100,000 (complete guess) £300,000 profit = £5769 per week Sidwell has been offered £12,000 per week and wants £18,000 an extra £4,000 per week. So if the club said that they wanted to ...

May not look quite as good after it has been covered 'over the next few days'. I suspect newly grown grass benefits from a reasonable amount of daylight!

Mind you, it's still got to rain once they've relaid the pitch unless they've already got an awful lot of water from the roof stored somewhere.

They had better hope that Thames Water don't apply for a drought order or we could be in deep shyte! Newly sown/laid pitch and no way of watering it whilst it gets established!

The club don't have their own water bore hole do they?

Must admit the tune's been going around in my head ever since. Mind you, they could have played The Birdie Song yesterday and it would have been adopted by everyone as the new club anthem - I think it has something to do with the intoxicating atmosphere of the whole occasion. I think it's a pyscholo...

Row Z Royal I'm not going to read 5 pages or whatever it is.

Clearly everybody is very upset that the prices have risen so dramatically.

We have a little phrase in my profession - "It is what it is". We musn't grumble.

Having waited this long (and spent a fortune doing so Mr Butler) I will for this season but may well think twice in future seasons. In the overall scale of things I'm really not sure I can justify spending that much of the family's income on 90 minutes of entertainment a fortnight. What's more, if t...

One thing Ive thought about SC and his 'best mate' relationship with BFJ. If Forster was such a crappy player, would SC have let him come to Ipswich and his best mate or was it that you just couldnt afford to keep him? A bit of both. He isn't the player that put three past you a while ago, not by a...

Please now! Can't sign a named player to save his life, couldnt even sign Powell. Damaged all the enthusiasm of the club and damaged the half decent football we used to play. Added to this players have lost confidence- Harper, Murty, etc Be quiet and have some optimism! The season hasn't even start...
