Refs first consideration is safety and given info he had it was a proverbial no brainer to call it off. Styles not my favourite ref but full credit to explain decision etc.

As far as I recall this is the first game called off for a waterlogged pitch at the Mad Stad.Anyone remember cup game with Bury(I think) at Elm Park.LOL Torrents within torrents.

According to Commentary lots of shaking of heads. Standing water in both goalmouths.Still hammering it down. Almost defo off I would guess.Could do without it but serious injuries we dont need.
