Re: Adkins -what next?

I say give him a chance to explain things on TV first and if he even suggests that that he's going to take the positives from the match and move on then set fire to his contract, maybe offer him the physio job and get someone who's not a tactical abortion to steer us to 15 straight wins, including ...

MmmMonsterMunch LOL @ QPR

Why ?

At the time they were drawing with Leicester. Alas not so now............

I would prefer to be drawing 2:2 with Leicester in the Prem than languishing in the lower reaches of the Chump like we are.*

at the moment.

floyd__streete I relinquished my ST for many reasons not least because I don't enjoy the experience of being sat amongst small-minded people such as yourselves, no offence :!:

floyd__streete Gr8 result. Sensible team selection. Saw the goals on SKY, gr8 strikes.

Disappointing to see crowds continuing to fall though.

Somebody who did not go to the game is dissapointed that crowds continue to fall LOL.

Re: defence

Pearce and Gunter
Gunter is the most timid right back we have had, totally unable to stop crosses coming in.
Pearce is just slow and flat footed, no amount of coaching will help with that.

Re: BFTG/OTWH Derby (H) 0-3

SCIAG Hector's a bit rough and Cox takes after Noel Hunt a tad, but I wouldn't say we're particularly physical right now. Maybe when Guthrie and Karacan are fit again.

Re: Can you believe Adkins?

quickwingerswife Can't believe what Adder is saying after another dreadful display. He's putting all the blame on the team, particularly the defenders.

Seems fair enough to me, the defenders are a shambles TBH

Cummings, Farther time Kelly, Long, not one of them will dislodge Gunter :P

Gunter is a liability and is getting worse by the week, we have better kids coming through and hopefully we will move him on before much longer.

How short sighted. Good Luck to Mac. I think he will become a top premiership keeper.

Short sighted ? He was in the last year of his contract and wanted to move.
What else could the club have done, players move on all the time, a club cannot force anyone to stay if they want out

Re: Team for Ipswich (H)

USA_Loyal_Royal looking at the squad i have to say even though i am usually positive it is quite depressing to look at this squad. it truly has to be the worst squad we have fielded in recent years...

How the oxf*rd would you know, I doubt you have ever seen most of them play.

Sat in the East stand for this game (only)
If anyone that needs reminding of the devastating effect two world wars have had on Readings gene pool the east stand concourse is worth a visit.
The only stand at the Madstad where the bar staff are actually sharper than the punters.

He will hate it at Leeds, with fatty kenny gone he will be forced to actually play football for a living.
Kudo's to the bloke for making a really good living for over a decade from 70 or so games of football.
