Re: Buyout

And why did the reputedly incredibly well run club get to the brink of receivership in the first place? Who sold it to AZ? Who were we told has effectively been running the club on a day to day basis for the past 12 months or more? I think I have posted this before! You really are the most t...

Re: WC 2014 Match 22 - Uruguay vs England

If that's it and we're out. I want to see something like this against Costa Rica. Lets really see the future. Hart Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines Henderson, Wilshire Stirling, Barkley, Lallana Lambert/Sturridge The future is that we will very likely not qualify for a world cup for a while unless...

Re: Buyout

RoyalBlue Not sure it is taken at the club or even in the UK - it's not totally clear but that doesn't look very much like a UK power extension block on the floor.

Re: 2014/15 fixtures

RoyalBlue OS has Andy Crosby commenting on the fixture list and how preparations will now step up. I am amazed to see him state that pre-season fitness testing, prior to training starting, is something of a new thing for the club!

Looking forward to you finding a way to blame Sir John for this

Re: Buyout

RoyalBlue So according to Get Reading, Vibrac are now in a position where they can not only demand their cash back but also name their price for the club???

If so what an incredible f*ck up has been created by a so-called brilliant businessman.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

A lot will depend on what colours the new owners want their team playing in.
Red would make a nice change from the blue and white.

Re: Buyout

So, as many suspected, despite having left the board, it looks very much like Samuelson is still heavily involved in the sale. Yet still the gullible hang onto and swallow every word that they are fed by club & chairman without opening their eyes and questioning what the sub text might be. Howe...

Norfolk Royal
If he specialises in insolvency why is he working with the club now to sort the thing out when it has not been declared insolvent?

Because in business you sort of know a bit in advance if you are likely to be insolvent at some point ?

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

Apologies, but if a party owns 51% of an entity, it is generally considered that that party is "in control". Strap, if you observe grown ups closely you will see that this is exactly how they conduct buisness when one party cannot (for whatever reason) be present. It's kind of how buisnes...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

Surely the final accepted price is not down to SJM? If AZ holds 51%, (which I find hard to accept given SJM is now "back in day to day control") Why do you find it hard to accept that the Zingarvich family owns 51% but that SJM is in day to day control ? It is pretty simple, none of the Z...

RoyalBlue

One of my takeaways was that McCarthy needs to spend some time with Dan Lincoln learning how to distribute the ball to his teammates all over the pitch in a quick and highly accurate way, whether it be with a throw or a kick.

His distribution was superb today, looks to be a good young keeper.
