I have to say I didn't think Gunnar was the main problem but as Royal Tezza said i didn't really notice him. The main problem i thought was Hunts abilty to do anything that helped us today, i'm normally a big fan of Hunty but today he was sh!t. I just can't see why Coppell didn't stick Convey on fo...

The reason Caskey never played in the top division in his career was because he wasn't good enough. He was a traffic bollard for the second part of his career. You obviously mean apart from the 30 odd games he played for Spurs then? Including him being a key figure in their 4-1 defeat of Man Utd on...

Didn't say now but one day. Judge him on u21s not his City job where it would be totally different to managing an International team. Peter Taylor is free these days! not always the big names and best club managers that make best international managers. Although it was tongue in cheek I would rathe...

Pearce couldn't get the best out of the players he had at City and he couldn't buy a player to fit his team and get him goals. I don't think he could cut it as an International Manager. I think an England manager needs to be a tactician, understand how to get the best out of the players he has and d...

IF we qualify I guess he should stay to see that through. Whatever happens there though I'd give him the bullet after the tournament. So if we win it we should sack him? Funny how the 5 consecutive 3-0 wins mean f*ck all again now. Yes. He hasn't built a squad or a pattern of play that is breeding ...

He should stay to try and see out the mess he's put us in. IF we qualify I guess he should stay to see that through. Whatever happens there though I'd give him the bullet after the tournament. He's proven that he's not up to the job and we still need the fresh approach that was needed when Sven was ...

True, but we're going round in circles. I believe it as I have good reason to. In fact it's indisputable to me, but not my place to say why. So I'll believe it you wont, can't say I blame you either. Is this all because this fella 'Hack' says so? Hack is a sports journalist who is also a West Ham s...

Are you saying you can't recognise a challenge that is more likely to inflict pain and/or cause injury over another? If so you're losing grip a bit there. I can recognise a challenge that HAS caused injury, I have no idea what a challenge that is 'likely' to cause injury might be. A two footed lung...

I think it was reckless, but it didn;t casue injury. How can you judge what is 'likely' to cause injury ? Duberry's challenge on Rooney wasn't 'likely' to casue injury but it did... Oster's foot was off the ground for the freekick in the 94th minute. Was that considered to be 'controlled' and therefore not a red (or even a yellow ?) Did Oster's foot make contact with the player, as I stated had to happen for it to be a red card? Massive change in the laws then - it has always ...

floyd__streete I have to question the wisdom of arranging a practice match such as this on a pitch as small as the Withdean

Coppell doing a favour and having a chance to go back for visit.

Fitness wise I guess it's still a good work out.

Pity about the performance though.

Coppelled Streets
strap 3-1 Lita pen 90.

BBC SCR says 3-1 flattered RFC.

Couldn't care less. Another pre-season win and the preparation continues! Very pleasing, again.

How can you say very pleasing?

Firstly results mean sweet fa during pre-season and to top it off you weren't even there to see how we played.

Lita banned after the game for a ' headbutt ' (I agree with SC that it is inconclusive from the pictures I saw on SKY Sports News) which was so bad that Poll missed it first time round and so damaging to El Karkouri's health that he leaped straight up off the ground when Poll waved play on. I still...

Selling a player is an option at any time and we're a rare club in that we have not been a 'selling' club for decades so people forget that for most clubs it's about finding a player and then looking to sell him asap. We've only not sold because we've not had any players other sides have been inter...

How? People with the most points (ie over 601) had a day in which to get their tickets. Given the speed of sales ie 1500ish on Monday, most got them. Those who tried on Monday with adequate points (and therefore surely among if not the most "loyal") got a ticket. Those who didn't took the...

1,000 AST holders as opposed to 18,000 home season ticket holders - maybe a lot of people just don't have the money "up front" to purchase an AST. As a supporter for so many years I am surprised you are not aware that there is NO up front money for an AST just a committment to purc...

The only way to accumalate points is to attend the games ( or purchase tickets) like most of the people with 600+ points have. That would be true if the club didn't give out ridiculous amounts of points for things other than attending games. The game was always going to sell out pretty quickly and ...

Just to reitierate the point for the 100,000th time. They are called Royalty points, not loyalty points. Hence why you are rewarded for going to home games They might be called Royalty points but when the club launched the scheme it was sold as having the aim of rewarding the most loyal fans with h...
