Re: Rival Watch

Royal_jimmy Peterborough 3-0 up. Really don't want to be playing Sheffield Wednesday next season. I fancy us to finish above Posh more than the Owls

I think you're in for a shock at how hard L1 is.

Re: New manager rumours and speculation

blythspartan
Royal_jimmy My top 3 realistic choices in order of preference. All 3 would be suited to the role based on their success in building a team from scratch.

1. Chris Wilder
2. Richie Wellens
3. Nathan Jones

Would you be okay with Darren Ferguson?

100%, in L1.

Probably to cover village car boot sales. Nice guy, but below par RFC reporter. Goodluck with your next venture, JLow.

Re: The dedicated Chris Wilder thread

Carlton Palmer on Wilder to Reading rumours: "The next appointment is vital for Reading, they need to get that right. "I think it would be a smart move for Chris, he knows the league, but Chris has to make sure that it's right for him, that the club is in the right financial position so he...

Pepe the Horseman
PATRIQT That is strangely arousing.

If that got you going you should check out some of the exchanges between Ian and Paul. Pure sexual tension. Just two meaty men going at it.

Re: Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

Hendo New manager odds, especially for a club of our size, can't be read too much into. But Wilder has just gone straight in as bookies favourite at 1/3

Is he any good up front?

Re: New manager rumours and speculation

Snowflake Royal If he was good he'd have left Scotland for a decent club.

He's manager of the national team until 2026... He'll end up back in the Championship, or at Celtic/Rangers when that job ends.

WBA facing financial peril, according to the Telegraph. Mentions of an anonymous owner they never see and hear from. Sounds familiar.

Re: Football Stadia - Past, Present & Future

Liverpool have asked the PL to make their first game of next season an away game. They need to squeeze in a test event early August to get the certification out the way to open the new stand. Apparently 6 hours after the final home game of this season, just after some community matches take place th...

Re: Season Tickets 23/24

Would like us to heavily reduce the costs for midweek games, we have to get people in through the gate. It has been awful for a few seasons now, even when we have been doing relatively well. I’ve thought for a while the club should sell weekend season tickets (ie. season tickets only for games play...

Re: The squad in July

I wonder if our next manager will be the one to bring out the good player that is somewhere within Ejaria. Presumably previous managers at Liverpool, Rangers and at Reading believed that they could it so it would be a real bonus for the club if the new miracle man can succeed where others have gene...

Hound Some journo on Twitter has taken it a step further and said we’re in talks with wilder and he is keen. We’ll see soon I suppose

Would be delighted of course

Hope this is true. He would be perfect, and he loves a long-term project which is exactly what we should be offering now.
