Silver Fox Ashley Cole's first on my list H but I'd imagine Robben will have derision poured his way if he plays. From the North Stand my boos aimed at the special one himself will be especially effective.

An awful lot of "great players" don't necessarily have the longest careers. Best, Maradona & Cruyff never really played at the top of their game for as long as they probably should have. All 3 of those players will regularly appear in " alltime great lists " yet none of them ...

Surely Ashley Cole is the exception to the rule already? I dont think people can really compare Walcott to Rooney as they are totally different players - Walcott is more, i reckon, like an Owen than a Rooney - Rooney offers far more than just pace and goals. True. True again. I just think Walcott l...

Maybe I'm being a bit blind here, but apart from the Beckham generation, what youngsters has Fergie developed? I don't really think the nationality of the players is of any relevance. Wenger just hasn't rated the English youngsters. He goes for intelligent footballers with silky skills and vision a...

It's idle speculation of course but let's hold fire a bit on Walcott. He has just scored 2 excellent goals coming off the bench for the under 21's against a tiring German defence that had played with 10 men from the 13th minute and were chasing the game. From the evidence of the first leg when he wa...

Muskrat Hughie Cheetham! - our record signing in 1979 for £25,000. I actually remember being quite excited when we signed him. And then I saw him play.

I left Cheetham out simply because of my own ego. I've played against him and although he was sh*t for us , he was still 10 times better than me.

Not necessarily the worst player but i absolutely despised Robert Fleck. A complete waste of space on the field and complete f***in idiot off it. I remember him dancing on tables in the Purple Turtle on the night Forest sent us down. Even James Lambert had more sense than that. Never contributed a s...

Re: Debit Card Expiry Dates

Just a warning to AWS ticket holders, keep an eye on the expiry date on your debit card, mine ran out and I didn't let the club know, they said they tried to contact me, obviously they didn't and therefore I have no ticket for the Portsmouth game. Be especially aware if your ticket is linked to a f...

Disappointing to be honest, although 1 or 2 of the youngsters did ok. Shame Alex Pearce wasn't playing because I think that lad is an excellent prospect. James Henry had an excellent first half but looked a different player after the interval. Curtis Osano had a very good game at full back, looks a...
