Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h)

If Azeez has found his scoring boots and having a positive impact, that has to be good for us, as he seems to get into a lot of good positions through intelligent movement. Only saw the highlights obvs, but Vickers looks like a real player. Azeez has certainly found his form since scoring v Carlisl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h)

I don't think it'll happen, but based upon his performances this week I'd happily see Pereira start on Saturday. I'm not convinced by Button; too many 6 yard tap ins because he remains rooted to his line instead of claiming the cross. You've missed some of the shockers he's conceded in the previous...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Nixon now reporting that Ashley only has interest in the stadium and being landlord not club owner. This would be a horrific outcome ... we'd end up in a situation like Oxford or Coventry with someone else owning the stadium and making a profit from it, while the club languishes with a useless owner.

Re: Selles out

Think Eastleigh was the final straw for me with Selles. Haven’t been able to go or watch recent games and was interested to see if talk of the new formation etc was making us any better We just look exactly the same. No real plan, the high pressing looks good when it comes off a couple of times a m...

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I would presume that any potential buyer is expecting a shit show in the first place - just look at us. But who knows, they could find someone which is even worse than their expectations such as using the club to launder money and finance terrorism. Then the Gov could seize us and sell us to whoeve...

Re: Prediction Game - Put the following in order:

Forbury Lion Away Win
Home Win
Christmas
New Owner
New Manager
Sell a player for a fee
Valentines Day
Ejaria to return (Maybe in a cup competition)

Left off relegation as I think a new owner and new manager might see us survive.

Relegation could stlll happen - maybe not this season!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

3 home games on the spin now. No reason why we couldn’t build some real confidence and get a decent unbeaten run going. I can think of a few reasons but yes a real opportunity. Season defining I think Tuesday is big. Don't win, and today is just a day out to enjoy. But yes, 6 or 7 points from the n...

Re: Ex Players

Puscas scores in win over Israel yesterday ... it's strange how he continues to play at international level and in Serie A but just not being good enough for the Championship. A genuine question - if he was still at the club, would you pick him over Sam Smith? No, I'd probably play them together. A...

Re: Selles: In or out sponsored by Another Poll!

He's better than any previous manager we've ever had, including Steve Coppell. He's the only to get a win against Arsenal. Everything else is just down to the problems with the club behind the scenes.

Re: Will Ejaria resurrect before we find a buyer?

So the club seem delighted to announce to the world its Ovie's birthday today. What a lucky chap he is being our highest earning player and doing nothing to warrant that status. I just hope this fraud isn't given any game time in the spring when he will no doubt be looking for the next mugs to offe...

Fox Talbot Re the red, your view not the one shared by the guys round me, thirty yards away. Old guys, mind.

Yeah in the olden days that wouldn't have even been a yellow - unless he's bleeding and the bone is showing it is just a strong challenge :D

Royal_jimmy I think Dai's fortune was all luck and no skill

There's a lot of luck in most successful businesses ... the problem is that some who are successful think that is their divine right to be successful and they will be so in whatever they do. But very few are.

Re: Selles out

Interim manager-to-be, Noel Hunt, is with the Unders in Aldershot tonight so I'd expect Selles to still be in charge for the Cup game tomorrow. If there is any chance of him going before any takeover then surely this International Break would make most sense due to the gap to our next match? The pr...

Re: We will survive this won't we?

Read somewhere how this sh:t is dangerous to people with mental health issue - I'm mentally pretty stable, but am finding it really hard. I tried to put it in perspective (it's just a game), but hell this sure as hell ruins my mood over the weekend ...
