he used to live in a posh house between Tilehurst and Sulham.

A hero of mine. Third in Division 4, what a season.

Schards#2 When I posted it on here, the knuckle dragger in chief posted a reply saying that if I didn't like maybe we could meet up and 'discuss it' otherwise I should shut up, as though the fact he could probably kick the crap out of me vindicated his behaviour.

Absolute lowlifes.

who is that?

home to Mansfield, won 2-1, 1969.

Real fan, me. I should have been at the IOW festival or watching the first moon landing.

Or something.

I am usually very prudent ( a pessimist, in fact), but I think we'll never have as good a chance of beating Arsenal, with the ten days they've just had and PSV to overcome in midweek. Henry not playing either?

2-1 to us

look, even I agree, so we must be safe.

(hang on, what if we are deducted points for fielding an ineligible player? It could happen)

ïf either of Watford or Charlton get a result tonight, then it will be one of them. If not, Boro.

I tend to agree with HH. I think he was referring to our (modest, but long) history, not the size of our crowds when comparing us to them. But Bury and Rochdale are long term Div 4 teams and we are (historically) very much Div 3. Maybe Rotherham? Many years in all three lower divisions? Oldham ditto...

agreed Tony, but Sky Sports had different odds, with Wigan and Sheff U lower odds than West Ham to go down (ie West Ham more likely to survive).

Newcastle away is the only game I've seen all season.

Last year I saw home to Leeds and Stoke and the promotion at Leicester.

But like many on here, I've lived every game far too intensely. For 30 years.

agree with that too.

I want three teams to be adrift at the bottom asap. Watford seem destined to be one of those. But if they are replaced by somebody else (Fulham, Blackburn or whoever) I would not mind at all.

well I'll stick up for Watford. They've drawn exactly half their games in the Premiership and if you add in their one win, that means more than 50% of the League cannot beat them.

I accept that they are poor and indeed am quite happy for them to go down. But some RFC fans have forgotten (or never known) where we've come from. Someone on another thread said RFC supporters by him at Watford were slagging Coppell off for this result and that he was "not doing his job"....
