Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

An exhausted Liverpool would still run around a helluva lot more than a fresh Utd.

Re: Weekend Football

Villa carrying on where they left off against City.

Slick, aggressive and incisive football. Brilliant to watch.

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

genome Has a manager ever won Manger of the Month and then been sacked the next day?

Him getting that award has to be someone’s idea of a joke.

A good manager always improves his players and creates a style to suit them over time.

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

McTominay showing the value of mentality and professionalism. Less talented than so many discussed on this thread, but a very important, consistent player who has delivered a lot of big moments over a disappointing period for the club. Every team needs more McTominays and fewer Sanchos & Pogbas...

Re: Weekend Football

I wouldn't say last night was the final straw but they can't keep losing to crap teams.

Re: Weekend Football

What a terrific game Villa v Man City is.

And what an incredible job Emrie has done. They have battered City playing some great football.

The improvement in Leon Bailey is nothing short of gobsmacking

The last few days have produced some brilliant games.

Re: Weekend Football

Good to see Barkley seems to be playing well again.

And Osho - well, he just makes you want to throttle someone.

Is Arteta capable of reversing his decision re the ‘keeper? Ramsdale had his brain fart moments but he’s a better bet than Raya who is becoming a bit of a liability.

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

Journalists from Sky, ESPN, Manchester Evening News and the Mirror have been banned from today's Man Utd news conference after reporting some players were unhappy with Ten Hag. (I get a faint sniff of a rancid Scotsman somewhere in this.) Sir Alex got away with being a cnut because he was brilliant...

Re: Weekend Football

Possibly. But I do find it surprising that the most successful manager of all time has had an almost unbroken succession of failures in management from his pupils. It seems like the longer a player was with him, the less likely they are to be successful in management. And pretty much the same applie...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Eastleigh (a)

Christ alive, as Ian has been saying for months, Mbengue is a truly awful defender. The quality of delivery in the 1st half particularly was worse than you’d see in a Sunday League Reserves game. Time after time aiming for people about 20 ft tall. Ebhi was useless. Elliott was useless. Savage was us...

'Wayne Rooneys Birmingham', in the play offs when he took over, won 1 in 9, now in 15th, 3 points above 21st I wonder what is says about Ferguson when the most successful manager from his many years as Man Utd boss is a toss up between Gordon Strachan, Steve Bruce and Mark Hughes. (Laurent Blanc wa...

Rashford is becoming a joke of a player.

Bags of talent - pathetic mentality.

I’d go so far as to say he’s a disgrace.

Re: Weekend Football

I don’t care about Spursiness and all that shite - they were great to watch under Poch, inevitably fcuking awful under Mourinho and Conte, and now, whatever the squad challenges are sticking to Ange’s principals and play some great football.

Long may it continue.
