Re: Weekend Football

Tbf, with what had happened at Sheff Utd earlier in the week that display wasn't really a surprise. Especially after they shipped a couple of early goals :( Agree they are nailed on to go down though.

Burney really impressed me at Forest last Monday. They've got a fighting chance.

Re: If We Go Under...

I go and watch Didcot Town as much as I can (when I can't get to see the Royals). Them losing will never ruin my weekend though. I will never feel the same about another club if we go under :(

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

Given that the problem has been having the cash to pay wages and tax, it always struck me as odd that the EFL's solution was to require Reading to stump up a load more cash. A bit like fining a penniless vagrant, it solves nothing and just adds to the problem. tbf, I thought the exact same thing. H...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.2

They've issued a statement (probably not worth reading though): https://pbs.twimg.com/media/F56ldJFX0AAVfP5?format=jpg&name=900x900 https://twitter.com/SellBeforeWeDai/status/1701979822258282534 Weird. Not heard from them for a while. Assume they must be taking action/keeping the pressure up be...

Re: The generic transfer thread

The Cole Palmer transfer to Chelsea is a strange one. City fans rate him highly, £40m is wtf over the top transfer fee  (considering Maddison was £50m) and Chelsea are all over the place with signings so will he even be a guaranteed starter there ?!
