Re: HMRC Winding up petition/order

True, but they've beaten them by twenty goals multiple times and they're a literal amateur side. I can't find any information about what league this side plays in, but it appears to be the equivalent of Man City beating some Sunday league team - it would probably be more of a shock if they didn't w...

Re: Ejaria

If he plays in L1 (and does so with an Andy Carroll mindset rather than a Lucas Joao one) he will be like a cheat code. And people want to see the back of him? :| Can't quite get my head around how you had the knives out for Joao for being a massive sulker, but love Ejaria when he's an even worse o...

Re: HMRC Winding up petition/order

I suspect had the win been by a conventional scoreline, rather than 27-0, it would have been less prominent. True, but they've beaten them by twenty goals multiple times and they're a literal amateur side. I can't find any information about what league this side plays in, but it appears to be the e...

Re: HMRC Winding up petition/order

To be fair to the BBC … Results, scores, league tables and other sports info is really easy to find and navigate through on line …. And … I like BBC Berks commentary …. and…. no That’s it … I have frequently got the impression that they don’t like our club whereas they appear to love anything in or...

Re: Will we exist as a club 1 year from now?

I think the club will still be here in a years time with the current owners. In 2 or 3 years time, things may change if we don't get promotion but the owner will likely still get more money selling the club as a whole, even at a massive loss than he would selling the assets individually and folding...

Re: HMRC Winding up petition/order

To be fair to the BBC, as soon as we've been promoted in the past they've referred to us as Premiership newboys or similar so it works both ways. To be fair to the BBC … Results, scores, league tables and other sports info is really easy to find and navigate through on line …. And … I like BBC Berk...

Re: Will we exist as a club 1 year from now?

We’ve got through some nasty stuff - not unscathed but category one status for the academy - overpaid deadwood gone - we can sign players for fees! Wonderful set up and hopefully a bright young modern manager - a new season - it’s exciting - let’s get real and stop believing the negative hysteria an...

Re: Transfer Embargo Lifted

I am definitely not fickle or flaky - I m consistent and grown up….. Ut……. I am also excited about the new season. We have a new signing and our new manager will be announced soon and we may have other new signings and we’ve been so low for so long ….. As our nation’s greatest leader once said at a ...

The BBC like calling us league one in the opening line of every article about us

BBC - the selective news channel - rarely accurate - whilst never doubting themselves….

And for some reason - never liked us…

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.1

I have some deep concerns about this "Sell before we Dai" movement or rather what it might become. If it generates too much negativity for Dai Yongge he might feel it's best to wipe his hands of the club and sell the assets to save face back in China - the fact the stadium and training gr...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.1

Not really. If an owner puts faith and money in people who have responded with mediocrity, disloyalty, greed and BS.? But that’s him picking shit staff who have then picked further shit staff. Buck stops with him. And he directly made half the decisions. At least. So he’s only to blame for half of ...

Bracknell's MP (Tory) now having a word with the sports minister https://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport/23635650.reading-fc-concerns-discussed-secretary-state/ The "possible votes in it for you" angle is working with some. The man is about as much use as a chocolate teapot when it comes...

He’s the reason for why we’re in League One in the first place and will continue to be an active hindrance until he’s gone. However, an owner cannot be to blame for having shit employees. Bizzare stance. Not really. If an owner puts faith and money in people who have responded with mediocrity, disl...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.1

I saw Joao leaving the players exit after the Wigan game and he was smiling with his family (and/or friends) and joking around…. If I had just played in a game where my team failed to win, we’re facing almost certain relegation as a result and I’d played like someone on tranquillisers (not literall...

Re: Readings most underrated and overrated players are....

Would say near enough every record signing at the time flattered to deceive - Hurlock, Moran, Nogan (post 94/95), Caskey, Butler (slightly unfair but mediocre at best post 00/01), Lita, Seol, Halford, Fae, Pog, Aluko, Puscas... Wow! I reckon that, perhaps because money was more often than not extre...

Overrated - George Puskas Underrated - Trevor Senior Who rated Puscas? He was highly rated when we signed him. As you know he was rated as one of the best strikers at the Euro Under 21s - that summer and many Clubs were circling…. Our owners broke our transfer record… And when he scored the two aga...
