Re: Kit - Hoops All The Way Round?

How many millions of people watched Comic Relief this year? (I don't know, but I do know it was in the millions) How many people complained to the BBC about the Rowan Atkinson sketch? (I think it was somewhere between 100 and 200, but even if it was 400, that's an extremely low percentage of viewers...

Re: Want to see / don't want to see next season

Steve Claridge admitting at the end of the season that Reading were a class above the rest of the division Reading were a class above the rest of the division, but then you'd expect that when they have such a rich owner who's willing to spend the cash. I think they should have done better than the ...

under the tin Our fanbase forgetting that in the grand scheme of things, we're still a relatively small club

Disagree. I think we're medium sized.

That didn't last long then under the tin.

Re: Blackman blow for Royals

Maybe in the future we can try to get any players facing diciplinary charges to have their hearing after they leave our club. Utterly ridiculous to wait so long after the event and a club that was in no way involved also gets punished... That said, with all the superstars coming in (and surely there...

Re: Rumour - Charlie Austin

I'm not at all convinced that Austin has entirely forgiven us for rejecting him for being too small and for the subsequent struggles he had with his career until Swinedon stepped in. based on? if he goes elsewhere itll be because someone has offered more money, or because hes had an offer of prem f...

Re: Rumour - Gary Hooper

. Also it was said that he and his partner wanted to move to be closer to their families in Essex...Hull is a few miles closer I guess.... :? I don't know where in Essex you are thinking of but it is about 90 miles from Reading to Chelmsford and about 180 from Chelmsford to Hull. I think it meant t...

Re: CONFIRMED - Royston Drenthe

Anyway, back ON TOPIC. (New page, let's forget about pages 83-86)

Why is there still nothing on the site apart from the few lines they put up on Friday? Where's the interview and pics? Oh, they put a story on about how excited Reading fans were over the weekend. Nice work OS.

Re: CONFIRMED - Royston Drenthe

Correct me f m wrong, but was Drenthe the one who accused Messi of calling him a Negro last year during his time in Spain? And Messi was correct according to the Oxford English Dictionary. Definition of Negro noun (plural Negroes) a member of a dark-skinned group of peoples originally native to Afr...

Re: Games you'll admit you didn't bother going to

Reading 6-0 West Ham I was having a bad day (s**t xmas) and just wasn't in the mood to go so spent all day in bed. Woke up to find we were 5-0 up. I was absolutely gutted! Serves me right though I suppose. I was in York with a mate for new years that year and we both nearly didn't bother. It meant ...

Re: Jason Roberts has left Reading?

This will be interesting over the next week or so. Jonathon Low at the Reading Post claimed tonight that Roberts is still very much a Reading player and will be next season, this apparently from his agent a couple of weeks ago. Jordan Norris on the other hand is trustworthy, and stands by what he's...

Re: Jason Roberts has left Reading?

Something racist, since deleted and reported by a moderator I am aware that it was RockheadRumple who modified Ideal's post, what I am incredibly concerned is that this was posted and passed by without a second glance. I appreciate the banter that is on this forum, I have been on this forum for ove...

Alexander Litvinenko The Andrew Peach road will presumably ramble on for ever without getting anywhere - and if it does get close to somewhere interesting it'll suddenly veer off in a another direction.

Re: Official: Adam Le Fondre signs for Reading

People go on about how he is scoring most of them coming off the bench, like that somehow diminishes his contribution. But one behind Walcott for best English goal scorer in the PL this season is impressive no matter how you slice it. And his last 4 goals have been from open play, 3 of them being v...

Re: Official: Adam Le Fondre signs for Reading

Libertine I don't know if it has been mentioned yet but Alfie is joint 6th for goals scored in the PL as of this post and joint 5th in scoring for forwards. Just wanted to make light of those factoids... 8)

Where is he for English goal scorers in the Premier League?

Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

If we get him, where will he fit in. Because there has been no offers for Pearce in the window, so regardless of the contract BM is going to play him until the end of the season. Mariappa is only getting better! And I seriously doubt he's going to be utilised as a DM as we already have 3/4 of them ...

Re: Tim Dellors Commentary

Also had to listen to this drivel from Reading World. I normally like Tim and his commentary as it is refreshing, but he just kept going on and on about how if we didn't win we were relegated. This is BAD reporting as it's clearly not true. Sure, if we lost then it makes it harder and looks like we ...
