Re: Charlton Away - 27th Feb - Only £5 for all tickets

I really hope my seat is right behind a pillar, obscuring my view so I have a good excuse to spend the whole match at the bar

Re: FA Cup 5th Round v West Bromwich Albion

Surely we should be able to get at least 22k in for this. This is our biggest game of the season now, the FA cup is all we have to play for. We should be packing the ground out at that cheap price! If you haven't got your ticket get one ;) Cheers Royal_jimmy, perhaps there's some way we could get y...

Re: 2011/12 SEASON BETTING THREAD

Had a BTTS & WIN 4-fold on at the weekend and Dagenham let me down for £2k by one goal.

Re: Are Leicester genuine title contenders?

No panic for me. I think Tinkerman has got this under control. It would give me no greater pleasure than to see that leather faced old coot at the Emirates being pipped to the post by this bunch of unlikely lads. Leicester have got a very favourable run in, Arse have too many fingers in pies, Spurs ...

Good comeback. If you're going to make daft statements like the one above then at least have something to support it with other than an emoji.

Re: "Maybe in the summer, we'll see"

Decent player, but no good in a midfield 4. Runs around a lot but this is usually his downfall as he's always out of position leaving us light at the back. Can't pass or shoot. Much rather Evans /Tish in the midfield to make us a much more solid unit. Saturday proved this was the case with Hector i...

Re: "Maybe in the summer, we'll see"

"Definitely in the summer we'll see" all the loan players returning, HRK, Gunter and Ferdinand not signing new contracts, and Hammond extracting at least £3m from someone for Williams. And then lots of hard running journeymen arriving It pains me to say that this is very true. (Exclude th...

Re: BFTG - Burnley

To those asking what the hell it meant. I was told , by a referee, that there doesn't have to be contact for it to be a foil. If the defender's actions would have tripped the player had he not leapt over the top ( or dived over the top) then it is still a foul (hence the 'intent' issue). However I ...

The last goal ensued chaos. Sigurdsson's goal was incredible tekkers though. Postage stamp stuff in top bins

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

While I did not want Brian to come back and therefore think it was wrong to have (re)appointed him I am happy to give him the time he needs to sort this complete mess out before sending any stick in his direction as, you never know, it may turn out to be an inspired choice. Expectation after the fa...

Don't think the one now would cope with double the number of people needing to use it..... I'd imagine they'd increase the number of buses? Obvious really. There's going to be hundreds of buses sat around Reading every other Saturday just doing nothing, and the drivers to drive them. Every problem ...

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

Attacking someone who was passively airing a harmless opinion is a more conclusive sign of madness, tbh. I get what he is saying. You either play freely without fearing making a mistake (football flows better, skill level goes up, you try more things, are more adventurous, feel more confident etc) ...

Re: How impressed are you with BMcD's return to the club?

Got to love the Team Board. Armadillo has some valid concerns and then the usual clowns come in, make some noise, and we're back to square one. I personally think you should have some concerns. The Wolves game was the best commercial for football non-attendance you are going to see, and, despite th...

Re: Speculation - Le Fondre to return?

I like Alf a lot, but he never really forced himself to be first choice here. I know McDermott brought him in the first time, but I never got the feeling he rated Alf highly enough to try to bring him back. I've got to completely disagree with you here. He was itching to get into the starting lineu...

If you offered me a boring season of crap football but we somehow get promoted, I will take that over any of this spirit rubbish. Success is great, so is playing good football but success will always take priority for me. Amen sister. I think this spills over to the Customer/Fan debate in the other...

Southampton away 2009(?) around Christmas time with a late Shane Long equaliser.

My mate wore brogues with no socks (I know) and I had to have two attempts at going to the gents in the space of 5 minutes as the cold temperature affected my first attempt so much.
