Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

If the charges are PSR related then it will be heard relatively quickly to ensure the deductions are in place for next season. Man City's charges aren't PSR related which is why comparing the time being taken to get through their process to say Everton is pointless. I see, does that mean City's cou...

Re: Ups & Downs 23/24

Watching the Championship relegation 6 pointer between Blackburn and Wednesday. Have to say both look a great deal better than us and many L1 playoff chasing teams I've watched like Lincoln, Barnsley and Oxford. Obviously they would lose players upon relegation and be set back a little, but I would ...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Hold on girls. From the risk of dual double relegations, looks like both will survive this season.

Re: Would you lose against Blackpool to deny Oxford the play-offs?

windermereROYAL Obvious candidate for live tv coverage.

It'll be Lincoln v Pompey. They're the ones with it in their own hands and they're hosting the champions. Unless 2 are televised?

Would you lose against Blackpool to deny Oxford the play-offs?

So next week, if Lincoln beat Portsmouth, it's virtually impossible for Oxford to make the play-offs except crazy GD swings. However, this is a hard task for Lincoln. If Lincoln don't win and Blackpool beat us, it means Oxford need a win (a draw won't be sufficient). Oxford are away at Exeter who ar...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

A lot of bedwetting on BBCRB, saying we wouldn't even be top half without the points deduction. A lot of "We're Reading, it's our first L1 season in 21 years, we should be near the top of the table" attitudes about. Whereas it should be "We had about 10 senior players and no manager i...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

Really really disappointing, but I guess it doesn't matter. Need to find a way of stemming goals conceded away if we want to challenge for top 6 next season. Also really lacking in creativity aside from Wing. Goals from a FK and PK, Azeez hasn't offered much for a while now. Wide areas top priority ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

Snowflake Royal Burton are poor, but you can't gift a team 3 goals and expect anything.

Soft as they were, one was from 25 yards and another was an overhead kick. You normal get more margin for error at this level.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

Burton are so poor. If they win this, it'll be 2 points from our fixtures with them, Fleetwood and Shrewsbury. Incredible.

We're not on the beach. We just didn't adapt to a shit pitch and direct style in the 1st half.

Snowflake Royal Wow, not even that strong a shout.

Looked clear enough to me. Pitch was our friend, bobbled over the keeper who dived the right way.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

Bristol Paul Awful defending and just not at the races, this is over and wouldn’t want to be facing Selles after this.

2 goals is not over against a team in their form.

Royalwaster Abrefa looking well out of his depth today.

Part of player development. No wonder we started the season so poorly with a group of players similarly inexperienced.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (h)

Loads of time if we wake up. Get 1 and watch the nerves kick in. Agree, I reckon we will still win this We're just playing route 1. If we get one before they get a third we might lift our game, but we look pretty terrible. Terrible pitch to try and move through the thirds on. I think they've done i...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Reading U 18’s league season went from bad to worse this morning when they lost to Southampton 9-0 at Bearwood. Only the FA Youth Cup run the highlight of an extremely poor season. Out of interest why do you think it has been so poor? Is it the manager/coaching, the ability of our players or the qu...
