Why should we serve a minutes silence just because a football match is about to start?

What happened on 9/11 has absolutely nothing to do with football.

Sodje:4 - Well out of his depth and not good enough I'm afraid. Totally agree Royalee. Whilst Sodje put in a commited display he looked totally out of his depth. He isn't even close to being the standard required in the premiership. People need to wake up & realise we are a premiership club, no...

As bad as it was, you cant prove that he meant to do it.

Unlike Ferguson's headbutt.

At QPR a few years back Andy Bernal put a touchline clearance into the disabled section in front of where i was sitting. It just missed a severley disabled lad in an electric chair that had a kind of control stick on the arm rest. for ages afterwards i had thoughts of the ball hitting the control st...

I think the previous best before the Sunderland game was our match at Moss Rose v Chester in March 1991.

I had the misfortune of being at both.

Found this as one of his replys You ain't gonna be laughing when they get you. TTC (Thames trains crew) are always up for a bit, ask Aldershot about the friendly last season, wasn't so friendly (.....if you know what I mean) --------------------------------------------------------------------------...

All of the people that sit round me get very tetchy when we get reversed. I think it's a psychological thing - the oppo captain has gone against our way, and has got one over on us early. But didn't Boro kick-off which suggested we won the toss and presumably chose the end we wanted? good obsverati...

I always get worried when we don't begin the match facing the South Stand, I dont know why! Might be something to do with the shocking performance against Sheff Utd in December 2002, when they outclassed us, shooting the wrong way. really? seem to remember we lost 2-0, 2nd half goals at the south e...

Another Stat - North Stand Lucky Charm

The last opposition player to score a league goal in front of the North Stand was Andy Johnson.

If it remains unbreached for the Man City game that will be a whole calender year

Maybe they felt if the crowd couldn't be bothered to turn up then they couldn't be bothered with the tannoy. Anyone know what the attendance was? Oh, it's on the OS. 9,267. Poor show. Looks like the bribe didn't work then. Poor show indeed. I was expecting a lot more people not to fall for the brib...

I'm wondering how big the crowd was for the Simod Cup semi-final against Coventry as that was the most packed I remember Elm Park being. I couldn't bloody move and that was in the Tilehurst End! It was a bit tricky to stay on my feet when there was bit of angry shoving over to my left (I co...

Reading v Wolves when our winning record came to an end, dont think I ever saw a bigger crowd at elm park, the police had a restriction of 13,000. and thats what the announcer gave at the time, but its my guess it was at least double that. Mike Lewis is on record as saying it was indeed much higher...

Personally i think the novalty will wear off quicker than most people think. Unless they turn out to be 6 pointers we will not sell out at Newcastle, Boro, Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn, maybe even Chelsea given the time/date/cost/tv coverage. Remember how much those factors had on our following at Derby...

I personally believe that regular away supporters do not get rewarded enough, as you only recieve a paltry 2 points. Villa allocate their tickets based on the number of away games attended by the supporter last season, e.g. first band is anyone over 6, next band is over 4 and so on. This is a bette...
