Re: BFG Leeds away

The Quiet Man blackman 7 played well would have been an 8 but his decisions on passing let him down a number of times.

Maybe he thinks he's too good for this division

Asshole

Re: Back in the car, soaked (Nottm Forest A)

I particularly liked Pepe's persistence on the Blackman front and the continued use of Rosenior comparisons as a criticism for any Reading FC right-back

Re: Huddersfield (H) match thread - sponsored by Sean Morris

Don't mind this to be honest, a few sloppy mistakes cost us early on but the young players will learn from them, good run out for Kuhl against championship opposition and other young players continuing to get experience. Good opportunity for our staff to see what works consistently game to game and ...

Re: Ipswich (H) match thread - sponsored by a Jay Tabb goal

To get four points from those two games with the injuries and self-imposed transfer embargo this preseason is quite something. Great to see so many academy players holding their own at this level.

Re: Cardiff bid for Sean Morrison

Thats the sort of money I'd expect for us to agree to part with a settled first-teamer under a long contract - the upside is that this gives us an opportunity to build a defence that works, the existing back 5 were all strong individually but didn't click in the same way other successful defences in...

Who is going to have a breakthrough season?

Who do people think is going to have a breakthrough season, either a bit part player last year who becomes a first team starter or a player who has never really featured in the first team becoming a regular feature? Edwards and Taylor obviously getting a lot of game time and the back four seems fair...

Re: New Club Captain - Jem Karacan

He'll complement Adkins well because he's got charisma and passion to get the whole team up for big games and getting them firing on all cylinders when they need to on the pitch. It helps that he's a likeable person and looked up to by all the young players who are hoping to follow in his footsteps....
