Re: Brentford Away

I've been travelling to watch Reading away for years on end, yet as I don't want to commit to a season ticket , I'm therefore below somebody who may have never been to an away game before. The bit in bold is the key - you don't want to commit to a season ticket. This implies an element of choice on...

Re: Deadline Day Thread

Mr Angry
Kingsley Junior Rumour I've made up to appear important of Pog to Arsenal on loan.

Corrected for you.

Hmm, I'd like to think if I made up a rumour to 'appear important', I'd make one up that was a bit more believable, no?

Fact x importance = news...

Rumour going around of Pog to Arsenal on loan. Probably bollocks like Zigic turned out to be, mind.

LoyalRoyal22 The same guy also said he is a replacement for Morrison. Clearly knows his football

Haven't read the source, but in a sense he would be right as Hector has dropped back so the gap is really in midfield right now.

A 2-2 draw to start - as they say in America, that was a Thai-game.

If he wanted to know what it is like to waste your career on the bench at clubs like Arsenal then he'll have had plenty of time to ask Stuart Taylor over the last couple of years.

Re: Station Bus

On a serious note, why not ask the driver/his controller when the bus arrives at the ground? Because I'm booking my train in advance so want to be sure that I can get to the station before 5.15pm. If I ask the driver on the day it transpires I've got no chance of making it in time then I'm buggered...

Remember seeing him sent off against us in 2007 at Craven Cottage when he had just broken in to the Fulham team, and then never heard of him again until recently when I saw an article about how he was back at Orient after a jail spell - was one of the more surprising "so that's what happened to...

The good Lorde has told us the words, which have been slightly amended: And You'll never be royals (royals). It don't run in your blood, That kind of luxe just ain't for you. You crave a different kind of buzz. Let us be your ruler (ruler), You can call us queen Bee And we will rule, will rule, wil...

Got tickets this morning. Nearly forgot though! Was at my desk before 8 this morning, thinking that I must do this as soon as it turns 9... then suddenly realised it had moved on to 9.30 and hadn't done anything about it - mate would not have been pleased if we missed out on this one as he lives in ...

Wear some double sided sticky tape on the soles of your shoes - I didn't and ended up slipping over in the concourse at the Cup game in January. Slippier than an ice rink. Didn't get to sample the local catering as the kiosk I went to had run out of hotdogs and was going to be several minutes for a ...

I agree with you, the apostrophe should replace the missing letter. However, a lot of people on this site appear to think that the apostrophe should connect the shortened words. As the trolls will attack my posts any way they can, which, seemingly, they don't do to you, I started varying my spellin...
