I won't be there tonight. Got the dreaded man flu (can I still say that? ANMd I don't fancy a 140 mile round trip espcially when the road this end is clsed at the Air Ballon, Birdlip resulting in a detour through Cheltenham.
I think in League 1 "good old fashioned" can and does work. We have conceded so many goals to teams who get the ball out wide and then get it into the box. Our full backs are quite often no where to be seen, either still up on the halfway line or playing too centrally. We are so open to co...
RedBird were looking to invest in Liverpool earlier this year so must be really desperate to want to add a football club to their portfolio. They already own AC Milan and Toulouse, so they must want to get a foothold in UK football as well. I believe they also hold a 10% stake in Fenway Sports Grou...
I spoke with someone earlier this week who has had business dealings with Storey, and the only thing he did say was that he has no money. This won't happen and should become apparent quite quickly when the due dilligience is done, unless he is just fronting a consortium. But I just can't imagine the...
Dai is awful and needs to go. But just for some perspective (without starting another thread) can someone provide devils advocacy for Dai? If he’s put in £200m isn’t that quite a lot? Do we have a lot to thank him for even if ultimately he just isn’t as stable or reliable as we need? He gambled big...
Athletic article pretty bleak on this today. Dai values the club at over £70m including stadium (dream on Dai), and he's pretty much AWOL and only reachable through Kia Joorabchian. There is no obvious end in sight. Thought it read more he valued the club at 70 to 80m but the club would also need t...
So here are my thoughts on reforms that should happen in football. A governing body should be given the power to take control of a club (possibly following a court order) in situations like ours. That governing body then appoints an entity to run the club and arrange the sale of the club, for an ind...
Been claimed on Twitter that tax was paid today, which, if correct, means it is a day late but that we avoid an embargo going into the last week of the window. Yep good news but also suggested finding the 125% wages is difficult Players sales *could* fix this but bit of an assumption to think anyon...
Really wish him a speedy recovery, just have to say I won't be getting any more jabs! 6.1 billion people have been vaccinated against Covid, I think we'd notice if there was a serious problem. Source: https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations The Wife ended up in A&E. and I felt queer for a...
Barnsley Football Club has been charged with multiple breaches of EFL Regulations. The charges relate to the Club: failing to provide the League with correct and/or complete information regarding the beneficial ownership of shares in the Club despite a request for such information being made by the...
Aren't we under an embargo....we can't sign anyone. However we can agree contracts and have them lined up for when the embargo is lifted.....unless they players get bored of waiting. I thought the embargo ended on 1st July We may still be restricted but we can at least sign players. We'll just have...

I can't see any downsides for us with this move. We need wide attacking players and someone with his skill and experience is currently lacking in our squad.
