Re: 2012/13 Relegation party countdown

AthleticoSpizz and we can get promoted

Better still win the league and get a trophy, have pitch invasions to celebrate without the stuffy premiership getting upperty about it, open top bus parades etc.

Re: How Long Will BM Last at this rate?????

Just wonder, and I'm not sure if its been mentioned, if we needed just a bit more quality or experience maybe some players could have been bought in on loan if they didn't want to spend the dosh. There must have been a few available.

Re: How Long Will BM Last at this rate?????

I don't care if we go down with a record number of lowest points ever. I want him there. He's the kind of manager that learns quickly. One thing I hate is seeing the same old failures ending up at clubs they don't deserve to be at or inexperienced people being promoted into positions at panic sticke...

Re: West Brom (A) Match Thread - Sponsored by Boing, Boing

DOOOOOOM! etc etc  It was a vast improvement on the Tottenham game and there are positves to take from it. Shorey seemed to be an improvement on Harte defensively, McCarthy had a good game, McCannuff at right back seemed to work OK as an option, midfield partnership of Leighterwood and McClear...

Re: Were in the shit

What is concerning is that we took this beating at home and the score very conceivably, and realistically, could have been 5 or 6-1 against us for a game at the Madejski How "could" it have been 6-1? If Spurs were better at football? Scoreline was about right, they certainly fully deserve...

Re: Adam le Fondre - proving many wrong

ALF is class and a true predator, a rarity in any team. Even his link up play has looked quality. I'm not a fan of the 1 up front policy, I think it has a negative effect. Hope he starts next game.

Just putting it out there, but yes we were p*ss poor today but traditionally the last couple of seasons haven't been good starts. I just wonder if like those seasons BMac isn't sure of his best or starting 11. Unlike some defeatests on here I'm confident he will get it right and a decent run will h...

Just a bad day for Harte and Jobi hopefully. I was dissapointed with Guthrie personally. He looked out of his depth.

:D So what if we are the lowest spenders, BM knows how to build a team. The premiership is full of dross and we aren't even in the relegation equation as far as I'm concerned. :D

Re: Team for Sunderland

I wasn't there last night, and only saw the highlights on Sky. Was it really 'long ball' cos Pog's goal didn't look like that. Guthrie's goal (assisted by Cech) was from a free kick. Maybe I missed all the long balls, as apparently did the Sky reviewer and all the pundits who watched the game who s...

Could Terry have seen red for that tackle on Jobi? Seemed to me he was clean through.
