Re: Is there an award for the slowest bar staff in the Prem

hot dog, and coke vendors walking through the stands- get it done RL!

Not a good idea, people standing up and getting in peoples way, most are there to watch a football match!

Re: Lawro's Predictions

I agree with an earlier post, Lawro has never got over that present that Robin Friday left in his kit bag!!

Well done Robin, the legend lives on in his faeces!

As for Lawro,an ever bigger turd, one that Friday would of been proud of!!

Is there an award for the slowest bar staff in the Prem

In the East Stand today that was ridiculous!! Got to get a better standard of staff!! Even when the plastics get the hang of it I can't see it get any better!! Catering needs to be taken back in house. Contracting it out means someone will pay peanuts and cuts corners!! SORT IT OUT!!

Re: 24 Years ago today

Memories of the day Waking up late, clocks went forward that weekend!! Leaving my Capri Laser in a side street off Caversham Road when I saw my mates walking to the station! Having a few beers and a steak breakfast in Oxford Street. Getting on a tube train full of Luton on the way to wembley. Drinki...

Re: Church/Hunt - time for a change?

I agree that Church needs to move on, but Hunt never gets a good run in the team. Even though he is "vertically challenged" he has an incredible leap and could be a good partner for Le Fondre. This season he has been shunted out wide early on in the season then has been on and off the benc...

Kevin Dillon on BBCRB

Absolutely loved Kevin's co-commentary with Tim Dellor for the Palace game. Didn't sit on the fence and obviously still has the club at heart!

Re: Mills 0-2 Reading

I spoke to a couple of mates (RFC fans) who went to the game, Leicester fans were saying that Reading robbed 'em with regards to Millsy. :D

Royalty points-what is the point?

Once again trying to buy a ticket for a big game and in danger of not getting a seat even though I have loads of Royalty points. If the club can step the buying of a ticket in hours then surely they can make sure that loyal fans get priority over the plastic (big game only) "fans". Once ag...

Re: REFWATCH: Reading v Barnsley

Short person with a whistle, look at me in my yellow shirt!! :)

Where he got 2 yellow cards for Zurab is beyond me!!
There were far more serious offences commited by Barnsley before Zurabs 1st yellow but after a 3-0 win maybe it was the spur to kick us on. :D

Re: Top 3 Reading players EVER

Kevin Bremner, Top bloke and he stopped to talk to us at Wembley in 1988( Simod Cup) when he had already signed for Brighton. Steve Richardson for always standing his round of beers in the old bar underneath the main stand at Elm Park in exchange for the American Football results. Gary Westwood for ...

Re: How's Howard doing?

Can't see why we signed him, what does he do that Tabb doesn't! In fact Tabb will track back, not lose the ball cheaply (as Howard did today against West Brom) and gives you 100%. For a so called experienced championship midfielder Howard goes missing too often and when the chips are down you would ...

Re: The glass half full thread

I agree with what you are saying as I would of been happy at the start of the season with a play off place BUT its the manner in which we have fallen out of the automatic places and are in danger of falling out of the play offs as well!! :o I really am fully behind Coppell as once the players cross ...

Re: When Coppell Leaves

Either Brendan Rogers or Eamonn Dolan for me. Can never understand how managers who have cocked up elsewhere i.e. Ince,Pardew,Curbishley etc can even be thought of as getting back into management at championship or premiership (joke as far as we are concerned!! ) level. Surely they should ret...
