Re: Joseph Mills - The Review

loyalroyal4life he's not great but better than harte

better than the guy who scored 10+ goals last season, and was our only player to make it onto the team of the season?
ill take that.

anyone who required guaranteed entertainment, spending and success to justify their investment surely would never have supported reading in the first place?

Re: Mikele Leigertwood

the whole team are being a bit rubbish. not sure its fair to highlight mikele. although he was pretty awful. i wouldnt have said he looked any worse than many others on the pitch. and id certainly hold out more hope of him finding form again than many other of our players

Re: Time to drop Federici

Should have done better for the free-kick but did little else wrong. Kicking was shambles tho. McDermott brought Federici back into the side unfairly IMO when McCarthy was playing well and getting better each week, so I just can't see McDermott being ballsy enough to drop him - ever. except he was ...

Re: Joseph Mills - The Review

And what I'm pointing out is that it's part of the forwards job to help the team build up an attack in order to get those balls into the box. You can't really have a player who just hangs around the edge of the box waiting for the game to come to him these days and he'll need to improve on Saturday...

Re: Celebrations ruined

Well thank you R.F.C. for ruining our week. Our Golden Wedding anniversary, superb meal out with loads of friends, big home party with even more and then we go on Saturday to one of the worst games that I can remember in all my 60 + years of supporting this Club. And certainly this is my last as I,...

Re: Celebrations ruined

So if they go down a Division and more in the future as they deserve then I won't be there. Goodbye!!!! and we don't need plastic supporters like you either. i'd rather have a crowd of 6000 again than idiots like you who sit there and bitch all the time. i don't care what division we are in, i'll b...

Re: Joseph Mills - The Review

It's a bit chicken and egg with a player like Le Fondre (or any player for that matter). He didn't get a lot of service no, but that's partly down to the runs he makes and the ability to hold onto the ball and use it well when he does get it. got hold of it , held it up, and released to feet, numer...

Re: A33 after the game.

lol at people telling other people the best way to cross roads. oxf*rd off drivers. if you are so daft that you think that imediately post footy match is a good time to drive past the stadium, then youll have to deal with a large number of pedestrians, some of whom will walk where they damn well ple...

Re: Half Time "entertainment"

i should just like to say that i thought the cheerleaders this week were very good. much more attractive than usual, and i particularly enjoyed the bit where we made them wait in the pissing rain for ten minutes, getting those white tops nice and see through before they commenced their dancing.

Re: Joseph Mills - The Review

agreed re mills, and also gorkss who was our best player by a distance
ill be willing to hold off on judging lefondre till hes had a few games, and we actually give him some service.
the only reason he was dropping deep was cos our wingers werent involved at all and he had nothing to work with

agreed- big error made there.
i guess we werent really stuck for FBs at the time?

as for nerves i thought he looked pretty composed. and looked to try and boss that side of the field whenever he could. good for his first game in the side.
