Re: At the back...

(.)Boobies(.)
leww_rfc with O'Dea, Bertrand and Mills coming in this summer, what do you want the defence to look like?

A brick wall.

Re: Gylfi

The yellow will certainly be in my pants if he does.

I'm sure you can stick your shirt over your head as long as you don't take it off; unless they've changed it now? Displaying messages I can understand though.

Re: who do you like, from the current crop of youngsters?

I didn't say that they hadn't played well. SCIAG is making them out to be world class players, which they aren't. They are doing a job for us at the moment though and I'm not getting on their backs.

Re: Gylfi

I would Love it. JUST oxf*rd LOVE IT, if Gylfi were to score and as part of his celebration, run to the bench and put on a white racing helmet, then just stand there. Arms folded, like; that would be quality! Or he scores, and lifts up his shirt to reveal a T Shirt underneath that says "I am t...

Re: who do you like, from the current crop of youngsters?

I don't know what SCIAG is on but I wish all that was true. Pearce lacks the concentration to be a good centre back. I haven't seen Karacan make a hard tackle yet, certainly not a Sidwell or a Parky, he's far too lightweight, more suited to being a winger in my opinion. Apart from Gylfi none of the ...

Re: At the back...

Assuming you are talking about all players being 100% fit: Armstrong Ivar O'Dea Rosenior Bertrand will play left wing. Pearce will be cover for centre back, Cisse and Gunnar cover for the midfield. What? So we've signed a defender for £2m and he won't be in our starting line up???? Fae? Halford?

Re: Gylfi

I think he's one of our better prospects for the future. Judging by the service we've had out of Iceland so far, I have high hopes for him.

Re: DARREN O'DEA

Ian Royal Interesting. Could be either of Pearce or Mills out, neither have been exactly fantastic so far. Personally I' have had higher priorities elsewhere, but fair enough.

I agree with you Ian.

Re: New signings

The 5 month deal is likely to coincide with the length of time that Armstrong will be out recuperating from the knee op...acting as cover and also enabling us to allow Ivar to not have to rush back... Also playing 3 CBs in a 3-5-2 is possibly a formation BR is thinking of playing...allowing us to o...

Re: DARREN O'DEA

Maybe he'll play left back, with Bertrand playing left wing, seeing as we have no other left winger.

Re: New signings

I think playing 3 centre backs is a bad idea when we need to be scoring goals. It's a naturally more defensive formation, but playing 5-4-1 will in turn lend itself well to counter-attacking football.

I would prefer to stick to the 4-3-3 / 4-4-2 Diamond.
