Re: Birmingham (H) Match Thread Sponsored by Seahawk's Excellent Adventure

If there was a like button on here, I'd be hitting that for Seahawks post! Terrible game yesterday, referee was oxf*rd awful. But we're going nowhere this season so the result wasn't that important. We need better forwards, Kermit doesn't seem to know where the goal is. The sooner he's dropped the b...

Ah, we are not winning games so there must be something wrong bollocks thread. Chairman picking the team. Chief ball boy who is sassimas grandson is having an impact on tactics. Get a grip. We have not got a great team. Indifferent. Tactics. We are crap. We will win games, we will lose games. We go...

Re: ArsenaLOL

Has there been another Stoke/Ramsey incident I've forgotten about or are Stoke fans really booing him for getting his leg broken by Shawcross? Stoke fans are a bit simple, they love their beloved thug Ryan. HAHAHAHAHA, you calling him a thug!!! As if you have never had any thugs of your own.... :ro...

get out

I agree with this.

There's only one team in Reading and it's not Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Liverpool, Leicester or, most especially, Arsenal!

Re: CONFIMRED - Blackman to Derby

Regarding the Vydra loan fee, isn't the word on the street that the well publicised loan fee of £2.5m is actually the cost of the loan to the club and not just an upfront charge. In other words our contribution to his wages is included in that £2.5m. If that's true, and I've no idea if it is apart ...

CountryRoyal No you're right. It definitely wasn't a typo.

You are aware that there is an edit button, aren't you?

I didn't feel the seriousness of my post warranted emendation.

It would have taken you seconds to correct it. Unless you're a lazy bastard.

CountryRoyal Jesus guys it's only a joke.

Kind of like Gunter's defending.

Perhaps you could have done the joke better if you knew the difference between "found" and "fond".

P!ssed Off Did you think the Thais paid for Vydra out of their own pocket?

No, I genuinely couldn't remember and couldn't be arsed to go and check it for myself. Thanks.

Re: CONFIMRED - Blackman to Derby

P!ssed Off Remember we had to sell a player to borrow Vydra, he wasn't bought from tv money.

Who was that then? Forgive me, I can't remember selling anyone. Unless you mean Pogrebnyak?

Re: Chris Davies in as first team coach - Terry Burton depar

Didn't something similar happen with Frank Lampard Snr? Also John Gorman? Oh yes, I do remember John Gorman. With him as Alan Pardew's right hand man, our results were pretty shit. Glenn Hoddle got a job somewhere (can't remember, was it Southampton?) and he crooked his finger at Gorman and he was ...

Re: Reading 4 Plymouth 3

John Smith This sounds like the original version of the O*ford thriller in 2000

Not quite.

The Reading v Plymouth game went like this: 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, 1-3, 2-3, 3-3, 4-3

Whereas the Reading v Oxford game went like this: 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 3-3, 4-3

30 years ago today, I went to my first ever football game and it was this one, Reading staging a great comeback to win 4-3. I don't remember a lot about this game!

Re: Champions League Thread 2015/2016

Arsenal shouldn't be in this competition anyway - a shame for English football. Crystal Palace or West Ham would have a much better chance against Barcelona. I agree with you. Oh and the discussion over the lack of Goal line tech? You can blame your buddy Platini for that. He apparently thinks havi...

Coppelled_Streets Yes. But we wont. McDonut will do enough to keep us mid-table. Not sure the Thai's will accept that though.
