OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM BBCRB: "The club asked for a huge increase in their rights fee, over three times what we paid last season. We've offered a substantial increase, in line with similar clubs in the league, but are not prepared to meet the club's financial demands. Obviously we're disappoi...

Their agenda is to maximise revenue for all of JM's companies, at the expense of past (and potential future) customers of just one of those companies. Wrong. Nigel Howe works for Reading FC. Reading 107 is a separate business. 107 may be a separate business but it is owned by John Madejski. ... in ...

got to be one of the club's worst decisions in recent years Totally agree, with that, and with most things said on this thread. RFC = shambles No, not a shambles at all - they know exactly what they're doing and they're doing it well. Their agenda is to maximise revenue for all of JM's companies, a...

Re: Reading FC - The administrators

Todays announcement about radio Berks being dropped for match commentray is just the latest in a string of decisions from RFC PLC which display utter contempt for the fans. But are things really worse now than they used to be at Elm Park? Remember the delights of Annie Bassett and Mike Lewis? So, a...

IMHO an absolutely outrageous decision, which no-one can support. A year ago, 107 decided to drop the football commentary because they wanted to "concentrate on being a music station" - but then, when we started to do well, it was all mysteriously resurrected without a word said about the absence......

I looked on their website today and couldn't find it. If I looked again, would I be able to find it? That all depends - if you went to http://www.premierleague.co.uk/ and looked under About Us > Publications > then you'd find all sorts of useful things like handbooks, rules, annual reports etc.

M4 Junction 11 Would be interested to know what they say.
Do we get bigger roll-over dogs now we're in the Premier League

No, they're exactly the same - it's just the prices that are Premier League standard

Is that the absolute proof that this rule exists? I don't believe it is. I've searched on the web for the rules and regulations of FA Premier League and I can't find any, not even on the FA Premier League's own official website. The FA website has some rules and regulations, but nothing about this ...

Indeed - it takes all sorts. And the "you're not a real supporter if you don't stand up and chant" brigade are as bad as teh "sit down and don't make any noise" brigade. It takes all sorts, and there are many people, like me, who did our standing up and chanting for the club in the 70's and 80's on ...

Yep, I have. Two payments a couple of days apart last week - the first of £15 (which I presume is the admin fee) then another payment which is 1/6th of the St total.

Presumably they'll allocate according to points for that, even amongst the awat STHs.

otheresie what could they do? - We'll only sell 75% of the allocation we get from whoever we're drawn in the cup - we'll tell you how many in December?"

You can't relay it - it's not a basic turf pitch like others are. It's a special heavy duty pitch with a plastic mesh that the roots bind around - so you'd have to replace the whole lot and not enough people would go for that to make it worthwhile. The WC has everyone in Italy to sell to, we don't h...
