We won't get any better showing or analysis from Lovejoy on Soccer AM either...more biased coverage of it.

Don't know if its been caught already and if so dodd me... but Paul Hayward from the Mail made an interesting comment or two today...

Reading stick to the facts

Not content with questioning Stephen Hunt's humanity, Jose Mourinho turned his guns on the kind of medical staff who earn a fraction of his salary for keeping people alive.

Reading's response yesterday was forensic, methodical and shame-inducing for any right-thinking Chelsea fan. Mourinho traded in emotion, Reading stuck to the facts.

Which approach do you prefer?

WE START the day with an aptitude test. First, find a piece of open land, at least 50 yards uninterrupted. Start running. Get up to full pelt, as fast as you can go, the sort of speed you would be looking to achieve if you were, for instance, a Reading midfield player who thought that he had a sniff at goal after 20 seconds against Chelsea. Are you there yet? Good. Now drop your knee.

Hello again. Were they nice at the hospital? I hope so. Man running fast like that, falls flat on his face, sounds nasty. Still, we have proven one thing: it would have been as good as physically impossible for Stephen Hunt to have fouled Petr Cech in the way José Mourinho has suggested, unless he was willing to risk serious injury to himself.

 Nail hit firmly on the head.

José, you sir are a complete muppet!

There's only one team gonna come out of this smelling of roses - but then roses always prosper if you feed them a lot of Sh!t!

Kevin Nolan's column is usually drivel (compared with his predecessor Jason roberts who could often be quite insightful.) But this strikes exactly the right note. It's humane and down to earth - a good professional's view. I particularly approve of how he avoids making inflammatory remarks about Mourinho even though he quite clearly believes the guy has been a total cock about this.

[quote="Gordons Cumming"]I just hope all this publicity doesn't undermine Reading's great start to the seaon and affect our future games.

What are the views on this? My own view is it may well do so. Having said that, this team has risen to every challenge thrown at it the last 12 months.
