That Norwich game was just awful. Crap team, crap game, crap day. Everyone just shuffled out of EP at the end with barely a whimper.

Probably a fitting way for the old girl to go.

Is that a serious warning bottom left?

I used to live in the very last one of the vertical row of houses. That was after Elm Park was knocked down. And the last house on the left handside of the horizontal row, a friend and I rescued an African woman from a savage beating from the guy she was living with. An ambulance, and whats more, the police were called.... turns out the woman was deported as a result. I still ask the question to this day.... did we do her a favour????? Interesting hey?

Joe BenReadingFC, one of my few memories from the Norwich game was seeing someone fall on his arse ripping that sign off the wall, but am i correct in remebering that this wasn't the last game at elm park and there was a testamonial for the groundsman i think he was called gordon Neat or something like that (and perhaps one for someone like gilkesy) after the norwich game.

...unfortunately at the time i was too young to get any sort of trophy!

Not forgetting a 3-1 pre season friendly win against Sheffield Wednesday (Premiership at the time) where a very young looking Graeme Murty played on the right wing and skinned a not at all slow Des Walker for fun all night.

With that total w@nker Craig Bellamy being attributed with scoring the last league goal at Elm Park, it really could not have been a more crap ending.

Frustrated_Royal A group of us always wanted to break into Elm Park, it didn't look that difficult. In the summer we wanted to do it in the middle of the night and have a kickabout. Never did. Should have done. Pity.

I did that once after a drunken night out back in the 80s. Jumped over the low end of the wall behind the South Bank, sat in the middle of the pitch, knocked in an imaginary 30-yarder and hailed the adoration of the SB going absolutely Radio Rental. Jumped over the wall by the old programme shop at the Norfolk Road end to make my way home.

A few of us played a very short game after the Norwich match, following a skin full in the Rondezvous and up over the fence we went!, chased off by Fred and a policewoman (who thankfully we knew!).
Happy days.

Sorry - missed this earlier.

Not really thought about it, but I'm happy to listen to offers for individual seats.
