Although 'Royal Lady' suggests Kingsley deserved to see Reading captain Graeme Murty sent off for a violent attack on the lion.

"Murts flattening him has got to be up there," she says. "Especially when his head came off."

RoyaLOL LOLady
Oi Bloody cheek - I said no such thing about suggesting Murty be sent off. To see my comments in full, please see the BBC Berks forum. I demand a retraction.

Berthwaite
M4 Junction 11 If he gets an official warning from the FA then will there be a hearing? If so I wonder if Andrew will go as himself or be allowed to attend FA HQ dressed as Kingsley.

For full comedy effect he should go as Kingsley, and make sure there's a few press photographers there as well.

Love it! That would show the FA and Old Mother up for being the w*nkers that they truly are.

Maybe a few Loyal Royals could hire some Lion suits and turn up outside the FA in a show of support.

Who's this furry faux Kingsley? What's he doing on Kingley's manor?

Now that Graham Poll.... He would just have given Steve Coppell a sign and Kingsley would have been substituted.

If Mr. Riley had spent more time concentrating on keeping up physically and mentally with the game, instead of focussing on Kingsley... Marks out of ten? Two - and that was for turning up on time. Doyler had two clear shouts but no! It was easier to speak to Kingsley! :x

It was the second half he was sent off/told off you tit.

It was the first half!

Yep. I'm the tit. I just watched the game back for the first time and was amazed at how shite my memory is! I could have sworn it was midway through the second half. My apologies.

biscuitsrus Born Free!

All together now...

Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows
Born free to follow your heart

Live free, and beauty surronds you
The world still astounds you
Each time you look at a star

Stay free, where no walls divide you
You're free as a roaring tide
So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
Cause you're born free

Volvicanus I thought it was hilariously funny, but I must admit that I knew he was going to do it before he did.

I'm not sure about mascot rules but just before it happened I remember being a bit surprised to see Kingsley where he was. I don't think generally they are allowed to be that close to the touchlines. So strangely enough, I wasn't at all surprised to see MR trot over to tell him to back off a bit (not send him off as everyone seems to be insisting on).

If he wasn't sent off, why didn't he come back after half-time?

It was the second half he was sent off/told off you tit.

Personally, I always find it wise to check that I have got my facts right if/before I resort to personal insults, you Riley!

Apologies accepted.

I'm not the best composer but there must be a song which will connect Kingsley / Riley / Shorey/ Convey/ Bikey.
