Steel Biscuit Isn't Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) a Reading fan?

About twenty years ago in the Fox at Sunnyside Ian Gillan was with Robert Darville and a few others and they were allegedly plotting to buy RFC.I met Ian in the bog and asked him outright if he was buying Reading,he said Sorry,I cant tell you anything .Well you know the rest, nothing come of it but he did attend a few games at elm park.

Whenever this topic has come up in the past someone has mentioned the girl who does the travel on R5 - Jo somebody? She's normally mentioned as an excuse to put a picture of her up, although she is a RFC fan.

Anyone know who I'm talking about? I would post a picture, but can't remember her last name so can't find one

Indeed - but I think she said she was, and had banter with Lawro on the subject.
Not heard her recently though.

Thats cos Jane Garvey left Radio Five and now does Womans Hour on Radio Four. If you don't listen to Womans Hour then you wont have heard her.

Jo Sale is the Reading fan.

As is the lad who played the boy in 'About a Boy' with Hugh Grant and is now in a another sitcom type thingy on a TV channel probably number four. No idea what his name is but I did like the film.

Former Cabinet Minister Andrew Smith (though as an Oxford MP he keeps it quiet, so don't tell anyone).

Oh. Wait.
